St. Tropez Self Tan Luxe Dry Oil

St. Tropez

Self Tan Luxe Dry Oil

Item #: 2285147 Size: 3.38 oz

Ask a Question
Self Tan Dry Luxe Oil is the most advanced formula in self tan. Your instant luxurious luminous glow develops into a long-lasting tan after 4-8 hours and lasts for up to 10 days. Infused with eco-cert approved DHA (an all natural tanning agent).

Sophie's Pro Tips: Allow the luxe dry oil to soak into the tan applicator mitt for a few seconds prior to skin application. This will ensure the product will not run. For a decadent skin finish and to add the final touch to your look, add a few drops to your favorite body lotion and gloss over any exposed limbs. Remember to wash your hands if product has been applied without the use of a tan applicator mitt.
Shake well before use to disperse the shimmer. Pour a small amount onto the St. Tropez Applicator Mitt and apply to clean dry skin. Wait until touch dry before getting dressed. Allow four to eight hours before getting wet.

Precautions: Don't apply to broken, irritated, or sensitive skin. Stop if irritation occurs. Self-tan may stain. Avoid contact with eyes and lips; rinse if contact occurs. Sun safety warning: This product does not contain a sunscreen and does not protect against sunburn. Repeated exposure of unprotected skin while tanning may increase the risk of skin aging, skin cancer, and other harmful effects to the skin even if you do not burn.
Water, Glycerin, Dihydroxyacetone, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, PPG-15 Stearyl Ether, BIS-PEG-15 Methyl Ether Dimethicone, Mica, Dimethyl Isosorbide, Phenoxyethanol, Potassium Sorbate, Limonene, Citrus Grandis Peel Oil, Cymbopogon Flexuosus Oil, Citral, Citrus Aurantium Amara (Bitter Orange) Flower Oil, Bertholletia Excelsa Seed Oil, Caramel, Linalool, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Geraniol, Tin Oxide, Farnesol, Citronellol, CI 77491 (Iron Oxides), CI 77891 (Titanium Dioxide).

Comments about St. Tropez Self Tan Luxe Dry Oil:

Had a friend recommend this and it is wonderful. I'm allergic to the sun so can't tan and can't use tanning beds so I've tried many products and this is by far the best. I purchased to dry oil and love it.

Comments about St. Tropez Self Tan Luxe Dry Oil:

I've loved all the St. Tropez sunless tanning products, so was excited to try this. I found it difficult to apply and woke up very splotchy. The color is nice, but the streaky look isn't as nice.

I will be returning and sticking with St. Tropez mousse.

I have been using St. Tropaz for a few years now and love it. I went to purchase the lotion and saw the oil and thought I would try it. I hated it because the fragrance was offensive and it left my skin dry. I also saw no difference in my skin color after 2 applications.

Comments about St. Tropez Self Tan Luxe Dry Oil:

            HIGHLY RECOMMEND
I have used MANY tanning products and have been a booth spray tanner for years. This dry oil by far gives me the best and most even tan of anything I have tried. It is my favorite product in the St. Tropez line. I'm on my second bottle and I actually had to go to a few stores to find it this time around and wouldn't stop until I did ! Love it. I am a fair, sensitive skinned gal and this is perfect for me because it is build-able. It is natural looking but builds up to a nice golden (NOT orange) tan the more often you apply it. Some might consider the initial "odor" bad (it's lemongrass-y and potent) but I actually don't mind it and you easily adjust to it. I actually prefer its scent to the cliche spray tan smell (yuck). If I could give this product more than 5 stars, I would :)

Comments about St. Tropez Self Tan Luxe Dry Oil:

I am a very pale gal and this stuff gave me a goddess bronzed look! If you are wanting a really deep dark tan this is not for you. This gives a great natural color but won't be very effective on the people that like dark tans. Sense I am so pale, this gave me about two shades darker than I was with one application. This stuff is great to use multiple days in a row if you would like to get darker. The only downside is that is it alittle messy but I'm fine with it! New holy grail self tanner

Yup! We recommend exfoliating and applying their Tan Optimiser Body Moisturiser to dry, rough areas such as knees and elbows prior to applying the Self Tan Luxe Dry Oil for best results. Apply using their Applicator Mitt for the smoothest, most even look. :-)

The Self Tan Luxe Dry Oil gives a lovely deep color, but it looks best on more olive toned skins. The best St. Tropez tan for you would be the In Shower Gradual Tan or the Express Mousse, but just leave on for a few hours then rinse off. If you have tried the Classic Self Tan Mousse or even Dark, we would recommend to give the new Express or In Shower tanners a go, as the color is super natural. You can control how dark they go. St. Tropez also offers a fantastic Gradual Tan Lotion, which would be good for you also. You can certainly patch test the Luxe Dry Oil, if you'd like to see how it looks on a discreet area of your skin prior to full application to be sure you like the effect.

                        A:

Remember, even though it is a dry oil, it is an oil, which means you will always have a hydrated feeling! Brazil nut oil dries faster than any other oil out there, hence why it's great to use with a self tan. If you feel really sticky, you have probably over-applied, so take a dry towel or mitt and lightly buff with a flat hand over the body to remove the excess, then you will be able to get dressed, etc., without any problems.
