St. Tropez's best-selling product is perfect for anyone looking to get a natural-looking, streak-free bronze glow that dries in an instant. Infused with conditioning aloe vera and long-lasting color, St. Tropez's innovative Aromaguard fragrance technology eliminates the tell-tale self tan aroma by a minimum of 70% and instead gives a beautiful subtle, yet refreshing fragrance. Simply sweep on with an Applicator Mitt for a beautiful even tan.

Using an Applicator Mitt, pump the Mousse into your Mitt, and apply with long, even sweeps from toes to top. Make sure you're well covered as it's only missed areas that can look patchy. Once you've got even coverage, wait for 60 seconds before getting dressed. Try not to get wet, or sweat, for at least six hours. Finally, shower off to reveal a perfectly golden, natural looking tan. To maintain, re-apply a couple of times a week, nourish daily with St. Tropez Body Moisturizer and smooth your skin with regular exfoliation for ultimate results.

Precautions: St. Tropez recommends a patch test is carried out at least 24 hours prior to use. If there are any adverse reactions do not continue to use. Don't apply to broken, irritated or sensitive skin and stop using if your skin becomes irritated.

Sun Safety Warning: This product does not contain a sunscreen and does not protect against sunburn.

Comments about St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse:

I love St. Tropez. I wanted to review it to set the green color thing straight. Anyone who has reviewed St. Tropez saying its green needs to do one simple thing. Go to a window with natural light. In my bathroom, which has no windows & those standard soft light / yellow bulbs, it looks greenish. All I have to do is head to a room with a window and in proper lighting it's proper brown. Don't freak out, find a window.

I've seen reviews bashing the company and the product. It's the light people. That's all. Put it on and change from pasty white to tan in a second. Think the first round of colors a bit light? You can simply put on another round right then, no need to wait (been there done that).
I started my summer ritual of self tan (pasty white my friends) and my husband came home and asked if I'd gone tanning lol. Yay! Insant gratification. Don't forget applying in your hair line if you use it on your face. Fades evenly. Doesn't make me break out. I reapply whenever I feel I need a color boost.

St. Tropez Application gloves: I purchased my first application glove this year, why I waited I don't know, amazing. SO much easier. Super happy, and as far as everyone else knows, tan!

    Great self tanner!

    By Kelly

    from MTL

Comments about St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse:

I've been using this tanner all winter on my arms and face to give me a little bit of a glow. It's not too much or too dark. It doesn't streak as long as you apply it the correct way. It's very natural looking, doesn't look orange. I just wish it lasted longer. I usually have to reapply it every 3-4 days.

I use this on my legs and arms, and it leaves them looking tan and sexy! I would shave before you use it, because if you don't then when you shave some of the tan will come off.

This tanner is great. The mousse is very easy to apply evenly. Purchase the application mitt - it is a MUST. My husband is not a fan of the odor - it doesn't smell bad, but it doesn't smell good - its kind of a chemical smell, but after one shower, the odor is gone. Drys fast and washes out of clothing easily. Great product.

I exfoliate before use and followed all the directions on application. Love the color it gives me and I have noticed after a week it begins to fade and needs to be reapplied. It's a nice even natural looking color. Apply at night before bed and shower in the morning to get excess lotion off.

This product is a step above the rest in the self tanner world. I love that it doesn't leave a gross smell of sticky residue. I can put this on in the morning, wait 20ish mins for it to completely dry and have a golden tan by the evening!!!!! It also fades evenly unlike a lot of brands that leave you patchy and looking like you have a skin disorder. A nice natural bronze. I'm VERY pale and it gives me a good amount of color (not jersey shore dark) while staying brown instead of going orange

Comments about St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse:

I was going on vacation and wanted to have a little color. I tried tanning my upper body the first day. I left it on overnight and showered in the morning. All the color went down the drain. I thought, well lets tan my whole body and leave it on allday and shower at night, to see if I got different results. No, when I took a shower it all came off again but it did leave me little streaks on my legs. I should gone to the tanning salon as I had originally planned. And, its way way to expensive!!

          Perfect blending

          By Tiff

          from Pennsylvania

Comments about St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse:

I will never, ever use another self tanner. I have a very fair complexion and use this in the summer when I NEED some color. The mousse is so easy apply, and it blends perfectly. I never have any streaks and it doesn't have a hint of orange in it. It doesn't smell bad and people often think my tan is real! This product is definitely worth the money.

I swim 5 times a week will product come off . How often will I have to apply. Most tanners turn me orange or yellow as I have light skin will this also turn me off color. Does this come in a lotion. Would med or dark be best for me.g

              A:

Swimming in a chlorine pool can strip the skin of color. The Self Tan Bronzing Mousse will turn you a fantastic natural color. Your best bet is to use the Gradual Self Tanner after swimming, which will maintain your color and hydrate your skin. We recommend to use this after every pool session. Yes, St. Tropez does make a lotion self tanner, which will last longer on your skin and is more hydrating- med/dark in the Gradual Tan would be best for you, and for the Self Tan we recommend to stick with the classic color.

can I go to the beach with this on and it not fade when I get out of the ocean and will it get patchy with the sand? I have very fair skin

            • Staff Expert

              A:

Yes, you can; sea water is fine. Sand is a light exfoliator, so make sure you lightly exfoliate your body every few days with a gentle body polish; we recommend St. Tropez's body polisher, which will keep your tan even. Then reapply the mousse when you need more color. Always wear an SPF when in the sun; Self Tan Bronzing Mousse will not protect your skin from sun damage and sun burning.

Am I suppose to use this everyday until my event? I notice the day I put it on it shows I have a tan but after I shower it fades. Any suggestions? I started using it yesterday and my event is in 5 days. I don't want to be too dark either.

            1 answer

            • Staff Expert

              A:

No, it is not necessary to use everyday. You should only need to apply day or two before an event. Apply the product liberally to clean dry product free skin and leave for a good 8 hours ( overnight will give the best results), try not to sweat heavy so no gym, swimming, etc. When you first take your shower ( after 8 hours) you will be removing the instant built in bronzer (guide color), which is simply a tan tracker so you can see where you are applying. If you are not as dark as you wish, reapply and again leave for a good 8 hours before showering and bathing. If you wish to be super bronzed, the dark range may be best for you as it is equivalent of applying the classic color over 2 consecutive days.

Yes, you certainly can! We'd recommend applying, allowing tan to develop, and showering to rinse the product from skin prior to using the tanning booth.

This can vary by individual and is dependent on frequency of bathing/swimming, exfoliating, etc. To maintain your tan, re-apply the Self Tan Bronzing Mousse a couple of times a week.
