Comments about Hot Tools Self-Grip Rollers:

I have been using a round brush on my damp hair and again when it was almost dry. It was a lot more work not always met with success. Now, I roll my hair under (these rollers cling to my hair immediately, so it takes maybe 4 minutes tops) and just do other things that I need to do before leaving the house. Then just before I leave, I remove the rollers and brush out! Voila!! I love these. I have already gotten compliments on my hair.
Wow...it's so much easier this way.

Great Hold, Great Volume & Great Price

Comments about Hot Tools Self-Grip Rollers:

Simple application by rolling hair up and letting the hair air dry in the curl position. I have several different sizes that I use to hold a curl all over my head after a home blow-out. Works great and is a great price. Love these little helpers!

          • Q:

What is the base (tube part, not the grip part) made of? plastic, metal, ceramic, other? I own some plastic ones that I feel would work better if the base held some heat from the dryer.

              A:

Hot Tools Self-Grip Rollers may be used on dry or damp hair.

Using a comb, section hair approximately 2 inches wide, apply hair spray on this section.

Hold up your hair section at a 45-degree angle and start winding the end of the hair around the roller, and then angle the roller completely down toward the scalp as you continue to wind the remaining hair. Keep the tension even while rolling so that the roller sets firmly. Set the rollers in the direction of your desired hair style. Start at the front of the head and work your way toward the back. Repeat the rolling process until all of your hair has been completely rolled.

Mist the rolled hair with hair spray and let it dry naturally or with a hand dryer. Allow the hair to cool once it's completely dry. The time depends on how thick your hair is. Approximately 30-45 min.

Remove the self-holding rollers by rolling them out of your hair in the same direction in which you rolled them. Avoid sliding them out, which can tangle the hair.

          • Q:

Can you use them in dry hair and sleep with them overnight. And do they give good curls like good enough you'd think it would be from an hair curler?

              A:

Yes, you can use the rollers on dry hair. We do not recommend to sleep with them. The curls you get from the rollers depends on the size of the roller. The smaller the roller is, the more defined the curl will be. The bigger rollers are ideal for adding volume.
