Comments about SheaMoisture Sacha Inchi Rescue & Repair Hair Masque:

This. Product. Is. AMAZING!!! After the first use I noticed how thick, full, shiny, and soft my hair was. It wasn't just me who notice either, all my friends and family kept asking what I did, if I was taking vitamins, if I got surgery...YIKES! But when I told them it was a hair mask they were shocked cuz they never heard of it. What you'll do is apply a generous layer to clean dry hair. Then use a wide tooth come to evenly distribute it, but I like to use a fine tooth comb because my hair isn't as full as it use to be. Then you'll leave it in for 5 minutes as the directions say, but I leave it in longer for about 20-30 minutes. After time has passed wash the product out of your hair but do BOUT use shampoo. Because the residual oils that are left can sink into your hair follicles. It's best to do this at night and while you sleep the oils can do their job. Then in the morning wash with your favorite shampoo and see the results!!!

Comments about SheaMoisture Sacha Inchi Rescue & Repair Hair Masque:

Wow. What a product. I have horribly damaged bleached hair and my ends are 1/2 the thickness they used to be. After washing and conditioning with good products, my hair looked like a broom. I use this every shower whether I was or not and my end look like a just got a trim. Healthy, soft and non-frayed looking. I have to use this or my hair is horrid.

Comments about SheaMoisture Sacha Inchi Rescue & Repair Hair Masque:

I'm mixed with corkscrew curls. I've had such a hard time finding a product that will defriz and de-volume my hair. Nothing against volume, but my hair type ensures volume and I don't need any extra.
I also needed something that wouldn't leave my hands greasy after touching it.

I love this product. I use it as leave in even though it's a hair mask and it's just what I need. For the best use I finger comb through my wet hair with this, then put it up in a bun to hide it from humidity. I live in FL so that's 100% necessary, but you may be able to get away with leaving it down in other climates. When it's still damp but almost dry I let it down to avoid that hair-tie crease (but if you're clever you can utilize that crease by framing it around your face for a no-heat style).
Besides finally finding the right styling creme my favorite aspect is that with the way I use it I can cut out other conditioners. This makes it so much more affordable.
Maybe this isn't the exact product for your hair type, but I certainly suggest using hair masks as leave-in for anyone battling extreme dryness or frizzy-ness. This product is also extremely healthy for your hair, great for those who prefer to go natural or wish to grow out their hair without damage from harsh chemicals.

This product was ok, weird consistency. Did leave my hair soft. Did not like smell, way too srong. Not as good as my 2 favs Superfruit 10 in 1 and JBCO masques.

I wanted to love this product, it was recommended by another curly hair friend. The smell gave me a headache all night and I got an allergic reaction to it which I dont understand if its suppose to be natural (no fake fragrance in it). I'm sad my hair didn't agree with this product.

This is the first product I buy with this brand. I have thin, curly, frizzy hair and after using this once my curls were shiny and frizz free. Clean feeling without the harsh stripping feel, very hydrating.

Came in for the Shea Deep Treatment mask but they were sold out, decided to try this one for Deep conditioning. The smell is so strong it gave me a headache. But I do prefer the natural fragrance of things, this one felt chemical-rich. Not ideal for me. The smell was so distracting I don't even remember what happened with my hair.
                        Won't be purchasing again though.

There are many reasons this could happen. The most common may be that they have low porosity hair. People with low porosity hair types are very sensitive to protein and this product contains a fairly high amount of protein which would cause someone with low porosity hair to end up with extremely dry hair and possibly access product build up. It may also just not be a good fit for their hair type.

We would recommend a lighter option for your hair type such as the Superfruit Masque or the Raw Shea Butter Deep Treatment Masque. These will both help with frizz and dryness and not weigh your hair down as much as the Sacha Inchi Product might.
