Comments about SheaMoisture Sacha Inchi Rescue & Repair Hair Masque:

After cleansing and conditioning, I use this masque. I added Extra Virgin Olive Oil and honey for more benefits. I left the masque in my hair for 30 minutes. My hair loved the masque.

FYI, I went through a little heat damage. So, if you need hair improvement, use this masque.

Comments about SheaMoisture Sacha Inchi Rescue & Repair Hair Masque:

I have been living at my boyfriend's place where it's very smoky inside and my thick, curly, frizzy, color treated hair just had so much dryness and a lack-luster appearance. This product is like a protein shake for your hair. It feels exactly like a deep conditioning treatment I recently paid $30 for at a nice salon. This treatment will make a dry mop of tangled hair into a gleaming luscious mane.

Comments about SheaMoisture Sacha Inchi Rescue & Repair Hair Masque:

I need a hair mask because I live in a city in Texas where we can have all four seasons in one day, or it gets very humid then extremely dry outside. Most mask feel nice for a day and they my hair feels even more dry. I used this product a few days ago. It's think and covers every strand well. I straightened my hair with a blow dryer and flat iron and three days later my hair still looks amazing and feels soft

I used this product for the first time recently after a ACV rinse and it was amazing!!! Has great slip and my hair was noticeably shiner and softer after. Looking forward to trying more in this line since it seems to agree with my 4c hair!

Comments about SheaMoisture Sacha Inchi Rescue & Repair Hair Masque:

I've been trying different Sheamoisture masks for a while now and besides the super fruit mask, this mask really does the job. I have 2c/3a mixed girl hair and I get stressed out alot so my hair suffers. I left this in my hair for about 5 minutes and my hair felt like butter! The smell is very heavy but it doesn't smell bad.

I have thinning, naturally straight hair that is dry and damaged due to color processing. My hair breaks easily when I brush it and I am looking for something to really restore some moisture to it. Would this be a good product for my issue, or should I look for something that is specifically formulated for straight hair?

We would recommend a lighter option for your hair type such as the Superfruit Masque or the Raw Shea Butter Deep Treatment Masque. These will both help dryness and not weigh your hair down as much as the Sacha Inchi Product might.

                      A:

There are many reasons this could happen. The most common may be that they have low porosity hair. People with low porosity hair types are very sensitive to protein and this product contains a fairly high amount of protein which would cause someone with low porosity hair to end up with extremely dry hair and possibly access product build up. It may also just not be a good fit for their hair type.
