It works great, but the gloves were not usable!

    By Peggy111111

    Comments about L'Oréal Root Rescue:

Gloves were not openable on 2 occasions. New gloves may be needed, if other reviewers have also had the same problem? Other that that the product does exactly as promised. I love it. Please add better gloves. I couldn't open them.

    Glad I tried it

    Comments about L'Oréal Root Rescue:

I regularly color my fairly dark ash blonde hair to cover grays. Recently I custom mixed a medium and dark ash blonde for myself, using 1/2 of each color with level 20 developer and liked it best. However my stubborn grays always release color first, leaving gray at my hairline or part. I was please with the ease and speed of using Root Rescue in Dark Blonde to cover those areas. It is important to note that Dark Blonde is seriously dark when first applied and my color is almost a light brown. If you are unsure, I would try the medium blonde first to avoid a slight shock. I find that all hair dyes in my range begin very dark and lighten after a few shampoos. The speed and convenience were a plus for me in middle age.

    How safe is it?

    By Gosian911

    Comments about L'Oréal Root Rescue:

The product works well but a lot of it ends up on my scalp and gets absorbed by my body. I would like to know how toxic is it really? All these chemicals might be very bad for me. Anyone able to answe that question for me?

My hair grows fast, if I don't have the time to do a full head touch up I use this to get me through another couple of weeks.

I was very happy to have found Root Rescue again, as Ulta had been out of it for several months. Loreal has a new product for roots, it's a spray, messy & I don't like it.

I was very happy to have found Root Rescue again, as it was out of stock for several months & I hope Ulta will continue to stock it. Loreal has a new product for the roots, which is a spray & it's too messey.

I've been using this product for years. Perfect to touch up your roots between professional dye appointments. It's sooo easy to use and the color matches perfectly. Very happy with this little helper ;))
