Comments about Burt's Bees Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomergranate Oil:

I have had nearly every Burt's Bees chapstick. All are great, except this one! It smells terrible, like straight up nasty. In terms of effectiveness, it's just like any other chapstick so don't waste your time with this one.

      Nauseating

      By Lizzy

      from Southern Cali

Comments about Burt's Bees Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomergranate Oil:

I received this as a gift included inside a box of Burt's Bees samples. When I opened it, it immediately smelled like flower petals which is strange for a lip balm but I decided to try it anyway. It made me nauseous almost right away. It also TASTES like flower petals. Flowers smell nice but I have no desire to taste them. I've never had to take a lip balm off because it was making me sick until I tried this one.

Comments about Burt's Bees Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomergranate Oil:

Ok, I have to put this out there because I know that there are many people out there that don't check the ingredients list on their cosmetic products like I have been doing lately. Don't get me wrong, I love the Burt's Bees range, I'm especially in love with the coconut and pear lip balm - but ladies - this "pomegranate" balm has the ingredient "Carmine" in it (It's fine and healthy) but it seriously put me off putting this anywhere near my mouth and I'm just a bit disappointed that they don't label "carmine" more honestly on packaging's for others who would have no idea what it is. It's crushed up Cochineal bugs (red bug). I'm sorry, I just can't use this on my lips.. Adding the colourant to yogurts and blushes etc, is one thing.. but on my mouth? :/// I can't.
