Great as my on the go foundation touchup!

By SunDiego

Comments about Dermablend Quick - Fix Body:

I have Melasma. I use the Quick Fix Body and swipe it over my Melasma on my cheeks and my forehead. It's opaque and covers it completely. I use a dry beauty sponge to pat it and blur out the edges. For all over face application I feel it is a bit too heavy looking. However if you don't need much coverage I can see how 1 swipe on forehead and on both cheeks will give someone high medium coverage with it looking light weight. But to use this as a full coverage foundation layered on will be heavy. So I use it basically as my concealer and then I use the Dermablend Flawless Creator Drops all over my face, (just a few drops on top of my primed face, Smashbox Primer Oil) and on the Quick Fix Body areas and it gives me a nice satin, almost skin like and complete full coverage. I don't like using too much setting powder, since in my case, LESS IS MORE with all my make layers, hahaha, so I do get some transfer, but that's because I don't set it properly. I use powder blush and basically that is how I set my cheeks. I use setting powder very faintly everywhere else so I don't dull the finish. Sometimes I need to touch up during the day and if I do, I just swipe the Quick Fix where I need it and pat and blend it with a beauty sponge. Takes 12 seconds as a touch up! Try it! it is very long lasting and heavy duty even without setting it properly. If you want it BULLET PROOF, set it (or bake it) with the suggested loose powder, or any loose quality powder and it will last for MANY MANY MANY HOURS!

Comments about Dermablend Quick - Fix Body:

I bought this for a friend who was hoping to cover up a tattoo for her wedding. Unfortunately, it did not cover it up without the help of additional makeup. It did, however, help cover up her back which is acne prone and red which made it worth the buy. I bought this with the tattoo in mind alone so thats why it only has 4 stars. Otherwise, I'd definitely give it a 5.

Comments about Dermablend Quick - Fix Body:

I bought this to use on a healing bug bite mark right in the middle of my chest (perfectly framed by all my v-neck tops!)
It worked wonderfully! I had used Dermablend years ago when I had heavy acne and loved it. It is still a great product.
I also remembered the need to warm the make up on my finger/hand before tapping it on and gently blending it. That technique improves the result rather than just "coloring" it on.

Comments about Dermablend Quick - Fix Body:

I have some scars on my arm from a recent accident that I wanted to cover up for summer tank top season. As someone else noted, this obviously is not magic and you will still see the texture of a scar if it is raised, but if you put it on thick enough and blend, it can smooth out some of the rough edges of a scar. I first used this product just by itself, and it definitely covered, but didn't seem to last well. I played around and found what works for me: makeup primer first (I'm using a sample of Urban Decay), then Dermablend, let it set and dry for a minute, then sponge on loose powder, lastly use a makeup brush or blender to dust off excess powder and blot the edges. HOLY MOLY ITS LIKE MAGIC. I put it on to wear for a run outside, then I went home and did yardwork, and then I got in the shower, and it DID NOT COME OFF AT ALL. Obviously if I took a cloth too it and scrubbed it would, but in the shower the water just rolled over it. Figure out what works for you, and then it DEFINITELY covers and stays on. Depending on how well the color matches your skin, you could use a foundation powder or translucent powder to blend it better with your skin.

              A:

Hi Mar! Yes! The Quick Fix Body Stick is a full coverage and buildable body foundation. Apply directly over the area and use a tapping motion to build the coverage. If you have rosacea on the face, we recommend to first apply our Smooth Indulgence Redness Concealer. and then apply our Smooth Liquid Camo Foundation. We also recommend to ensure the wearability to apply generous amounts of our Setting Powder, allow to set for a few minutes, then brush off any excess.

Thank you for asking about Dermablend Quick Fix Body. This product is not exactly the same as Dermablend Leg & Body Make-up. Quick fix Body is recommended for spot covering smaller areas, Leg & Body Makeup for larger areas such as Varicose Veins, Stretch Marks etc.
