Comments about Laura Geller Quench-N-Tint Hydrating Foundation:

Oh how I loved this! It was a great summer go to for me. I had another bottle of something else in my hand to buy and another clerk goes, are you dry? I go yes and old hehe she goes you won't like that, try this. She was soooooo right. I am fair to medium in winter and more medium in summer. I like the hydration it gave my tired skin. Thanks to the Blue Springs, Mo. ulta employee who steered me to this, plus it was cheaper!!!

Comments about Laura Geller Quench-N-Tint Hydrating Foundation:

When I first put this product on I really wanted to love it. It goes on very smooth and even. I have sensitive skin and this really irritated it. I bought the medium shade and at the day went on it looked like it wore off in areas and gathered in other areas like around my eyebrows, it has a orange undertone.

I like a lightweight/sheer foundation and this is what I was looking for to replace Clinique's product which was discontinued. It is as it describes: moisture and tint. It's not cheap but I was happy it gave me what I was looking for.

I liked this, but didn't realize that it has no SPF. Also, my sensitive skin reacted to this product causing a rash. Had to return it. I'll stay with IT and the 50 SPF.

I bought this because I have pretty normal skin (not oily) and I get some dry patches so I was looking for something hydrating that was lightweight but also had a nice coverage. This is stuff amazing, it met all my needs! It's literally looks like your skin, it blends so well.

Comments about Laura Geller Quench-N-Tint Hydrating Foundation:

I have very difficult skin.. rosacea and extreme sensitivity; can not use many ingredients. I get oily, yet mattifying products make it worse and/or irritate my skin. The oil production is due to my skin being dehydrated, yet most "hydrating" makeups are loaded with oils that make me feel like an oil slick by lunch, or break me out. Yes... very FRUSTRATING! :( I have tried hundreds of products over the years. There is literally nothing else out there right now that compares to this. The consistency is different than any other foundation you've tried. It is a light weight bouncy gel. It feels amazing and calming, and it blends in wonderfully, and diminishes the look of lines and pores without settling. Kind of hard to even explain! It just glides on smoothly and vanishes into your skin without settling into lines at all! It seems to actually plump the skin and blend in, leaving you with a no make-up look. It is honestly different than anything else I have ever seen or tried. And it's hydrating enough to keep you from getting oily throughout the day, yet it is not at all greasy!! It's everything I could have hoped for in a makeup.. FINALLY!!!!! When I want a more full coverage look, I brush on a little of my Tarte Double Duty powder foundation, and set with Too Faces Born This Way loose powder - woks BEAUTIFULLY!!!!! But if you don't need full coverage, it is also great on its own, just depends on your skin type and the look you want. If you tend to get oily due to dehydration, or don't want that chalky matte finish that tends to settle into every line and feel heavy, I highly suggest you give this one a shot! And a little goes a long way, so it will definitely last. I rarely take the time to do reviews, but I am so impressed with this product I wanted to share for those out there with tempermental skin like mine! Definitely worth a shot!!!!!!

                    • Q:

This is a VERY good product and JUST what I am looking for! In addition it is light and natural enough that I could do seamless touch ups with my Balance and Brighten or other Geller fine milled powder throughout day. HOWEVER, with such a beautiful, light, natural skin like lovely fluid, that doesn't feel heavy or clogging on the skin, would it ruin it to put a sunscreen in it?? It would be SUCH a fantastic all purpose, light fluid for ALL people, even those who don't wear or like makeup, because they would be enhancing moisturizer, spf, get a pretty light, brightening and protecting cover, which also could lightly be reapplied if needed with of it's light texture, just like a light moisture with no build up, cracking, masking or other undesirable effects. Would it be possible to offer with and without SPF? It is such a lovely, no make up feel skin moisturizer and enhancer that can be used with no makeup at all.

Thank you so so so much for those kind words about Quence-n-tint!!! We appreciate the support of our brand and fabulous products! I will certainly bring this topic up with our product development team. In the time being, I would recommend using our Spackle under makeup primer with SPF 30 to satisfy your needs. It'll prime the skin and will keep your makeup on all day long, and you'll get that SPF protection that you desire. Please see the link below!

                      Hello,
Being that there are only a few shades I'm going to assume this is a very sheer product. I'm just wondering if the lightest shade might be too dark for me. I use Fair with IT Your Skin But Better CC cream, and Cool Bone with Estée Lauder double wear foundation. What are your thoughts on this? With Urban Decay I'm a 1.5-2.0..
                      Thank you!

You nailed it- this is a very sheer product. Even people who are pretty porcelain can wear the light in this product because of its sheerness. I think you should give it a try! It is a fabulous way to get just the right amount of coverage and hydration all at the same time. Enjoy!

                        A:

This product is so sheer, it will start to eliminate the appearance of redness but it will not cover it up completely. If you like sheer coverage but are looking for more color correction, I recommend pairing it with our Spackle Under Makeup Primer in the soothing formula. It has a green tint, and anything green on the color wheel will cut redness. The two products combined will be perfect! Link below:
