Comments about Nyx Cosmetics Pro Shading Brush:

I picked up the NYX pro shading brush the same week Ulta started carrying NYX brushes online. I think that puts it at about a year now. The bristles are soft, but they're tightly packed so that makes the brush firm. It doesn't really bend when applying shadow, so I don't really use it for anything that involves sweeping, but it does provide control over where the color goes so I'll use it for precision color application. I can't get used to it enough to use it for blending though. Overall I've only picked this up a handful of times since I've owned it. I would try a different brush from NYX, but I wouldn't recommend this one to anyone.

Comments about Nyx Cosmetics Pro Shading Brush:

I wash my brushes before I use them, so I handled this with my fingers a bit before it ever touched my eyes. I was really surprised at how firm it is and was a bit worried it would be scratchy. It's actually amazingly soft. It picks up a fair amount of color, but I'm having trouble adapting to the firmness of it. Also, it deposits the color, but doesn't really seem to blend. I've tried it with and without primer and with brands from Lorac to W7.

I'll keep working with it since it is so soft and for the price I think it's worth trying if you're considering it.
