Great product but hey I dint understand is the box had ONE price in it; but yet, when it was rung up, it was ring separately as the iron and barrel. Mind you, there's only one barrel w/t iron andbim but sure if it's even detachable. So it ended up closing $14 more than the price in the box.

I LOVE Hot Tools products, they are such a great value and they do a job well done! I love the temperature setting dial. I rarely use the clamp, instead I opt to use mine line a wand and it works just as well. My hair takes the curl so well I can even get away without using hairspray in the Florida humidity.

Comments about Hot Tools Pink Titanium Curling Iron:

Got it coz it's on sale and it's pink!!! First time trying Size 1 1/4 and it's actually perfect for my long thin hair! I already have a 1 inch and a 1 1/2 from different brands and now I'm wishing I waited for this set. It's cheaper than getting the t3 set with the 3 interchangeable barrels. I think this hot tools curling iron works decent. Heat was at 380 degrees and took ~20 mins to curl all my hair. curls lasted all day which is really good considering my straight hair goes limp after about 12 hours..( no matter what mousse & hairspray I use) After reading the reviews, I'm hesitant on purchasing the other two sizes (which I don't need).. but it's tempting, so I can have a matching set.

Works well! At the recommendation of Ulta Stylist I got a smaller barrel because I have fine hair and this holds curls a little longer.

What is the difference between a ceramic curling iron and a titanium curling iron? Is one better for the hair
Asked on 12/14/2014 by Natasha from Rockville, MD

                          • Staff Expert

                            A:

This curling iron features a titanium barrel that heats quickly and reaches high temperatures (up to 450 degrees F!) for instant results. The titanium barrel is also very smooth, so it won't cause damage by snagging hair.

The benefits of ceramic over titanium are that ceramic produces negative ions to infuse hair with moisture and shine and can be less damaging to hair. We always recommend using a heat protectant spray regardless of the material of your heat styling device to help keep hair healthy and beautiful!
