Great product but hey I dint understand is the box had ONE price in it; but yet, when it was rung up, it was ring separately as the iron and barrel. Mind you, there's only one barrel w/t iron andbim but sure if it's even detachable. So it ended up closing $14 more than the price in the box.

I LOVE Hot Tools products, they are such a great value and they do a job well done! I love the temperature setting dial. I rarely use the clamp, instead I opt to use mine line a wand and it works just as well. My hair takes the curl so well I can even get away without using hairspray in the Florida humidity.

I'm so tempted to buy all three sizes!

Comments about Hot Tools Pink Titanium Curling Iron:

Got it coz it's on sale and it's pink!!! First time trying Size 1 1/4 and it's actually perfect for my long thin hair! I already have a 1 inch and a 1 1/2 from different brands and now I'm wishing I waited for this set. It's cheaper than getting the t3 set with the 3 interchangeable barrels. I think this hot tools curling iron works decent. Heat was at 380 degrees and took ~20 mins to curl all my hair. curls lasted all day which is really good considering my straight hair goes limp after about 12 hours..( no matter what mousse & hairspray I use) After reading the reviews, I'm hesitant on purchasing the other two sizes (which I don't need).. but it's tempting, so I can have a matching set.

Works well! At the recommendation of Ulta Stylist I got a smaller barrel because I have fine hair and this holds curls a little longer.
                It's worked great so far!

I bought this product for the high heat setting and that it appeared heavy duty. The last Hot Tool curling iron that I bought eventually had issues: the heat light quit working (so I could not tell if the iron was on or off, except for the heat I could feel) as well as the on/off switch. I also had a problem with both the old and now the new curling iron with the on/off switch. It is not stiff enough to stay in place if you accidently touch it while curling your hair. It does straighten my hair like I expected.

Unfortunately I had to exchange this for a smaller size barrel. As much as I would love to have the big bouncy curls, it just isn't happening for my hair with this size barrel. I have tried several other brands of curling iron in this barrel size and I really think it's just the size of the barrel. The curls don't hold or curl at all. I'm hoping the smaller size barrel I exchanged it for works out better.

The 1" size offers the most versatile styling, but the 1 1/4" will give you more of a loose wave or more volume.

                              A:

This curling iron features a titanium barrel that heats quickly and reaches high temperatures (up to 450 degrees F!) for instant results. The titanium barrel is also very smooth, so it won't cause damage by snagging hair.

The benefits of ceramic over titanium are that ceramic produces negative ions to infuse hair with moisture and shine and can be less damaging to hair. We always recommend using a heat protectant spray regardless of the material of your heat styling device to help keep hair healthy and beautiful!
