I have no negative review for this product it's excellent it straightens the hair and yet leave the Integrity of the hair strands and the scalp. It is very gentle to the scalp my clients and I both love this product and would never use anything other than it.

Comments about Phyto Specific Phytorelaxer Index 1:

After 1st-time use for touch-up, which was professionally applied, (I was concerned about breakage after reading reviews) my thick, Afro-textured hair reverted after 5 weeks. Thus, I switched to Index 2. No problems since.

Comments about Phyto Specific Phytorelaxer Index 1:

Had no breakage, even though this was a touch-up, over traditionally relaxed strands! Whew! Was professionally applied. Index 1 was too mild for my thickish, Type 4a hair. Reviews as to what was the appropriate index were confusing. Results have lasted only 5 weeks, vs. 10 weeks with traditional relaxer.

Comments about Phyto Specific Phytorelaxer Index 1:

I have been using relaxers for 20 years. I switched to Phyto a year ago and will never go back. It's so much more better for my hair than the others.... And I have tried them all. I did, however, switch to Index 2 one time but it made my hair too straight. It didn't damage it but it just should not be done... For me anyway. After 20 years of relaxing, being bone straight is not important Anymore. If I want bone straight, I can flat iron it.

I purchase this and bring it to my hairdresser. I would never attempt this myself.
