Comments about Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Oil:

I have oily skin and I wasn't about to add any more oil to my skin in the form of a moisturizer HOWEVER when looking to thin down my Studio Fix I asked an employee at Ulta and she recommended this because it is a light oil. I add a single drop and it works wonders. My foundation has never looked so smooth! I will say I have since then purchased another generic light oil that works just as well at 1/4 of the price hence my star rating.

This really is a lovely primer oil Smashbox has came out with. I love the smell. I adore the dropper. You only need the smallest amount of product. Great for us dry gals out there. Multi- purpose. You can use this as cuticle oil, a dewy sheen on your cheekbones or collar bones, a primer, a night serum, moisturizer, etc.
BUT- I will not be repurchasing. Smashbox isn't cruelty free and that's unfortunate.

I use this oil on cleansed and prepped skin before applying make up. Two drops for under my eyes, forehead and smile lines. Absorbs quickly and makes make up look like it's your skin not on top of an oil. A little goes a long way. This product can be used at bedtime after your night time routine. Does not have an odor and this product will last forever! Highly recommend for mature skin. Love it!

Smashbox does not make non-comedogenic claims. Photo Finish Primer Oil works for all skin types: dry, normal, even oily. It is a lightweight oil with no greasy residue. We recommend applying this product after any treatments/serums, moisturizer, and before your foundation.
