Comments about Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer Pore Minimizing:

From the moment I purchased this primer- Smashbox Photo Finish Pore Minimizing- I knew it was poop. I should have returned it, but I don't like returning things unless its really expensive. I gave it to my bonus daughter. I used it just on my T zone- where I am most oily, & it still peeled and broke apart my foundation. So disappointing. Poor quality. Poor price. I recently saw Coffee Break w/Dani break open a brand new one after trying to use an older 1 which was peeling, & the brand new 1 started peeling too! This is a poop product. I now swear by the Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer. Its a bit pricey but super worth it.

Rather than this product, we recommend using the Photo Finish Hydrating Under Eye Primer, developed specifically for the under eye area, which sets the stage for flawless concealer application and helps reduce the appearance of dark circles, puffiness, fine lines and wrinkles in as little as 8 weeks:

I'm 32 and have sensitive, acne prone skin that also has problems with oil and shine (and I get dry patches if I don't use a light moisturizer). I've tried the regular Smashbox primer and, although it makes my makeup look amazing at first, I still get very shiny and it also causes me to break out. Next, I bought the Smashbox Light formula, and it makes me a little less shiny, and doesn't cause the breakouts but, it doesn't make my makeup look at great as the regular, and I still get a bit shiny.
Would this pore minimizing primer be better for me than the light formula? Or is it not recomended for acne prone skin?
