Ask a Question

The special effects of Light Filter Technology and the performance of long-wear Photoset Polymers blend together to make this powder foundation magic. Not only does it act like your favorite photo filter on your phone, but it also stays true all day. In today's super social world where everyone's a photographer, this product couldn't have come at a better time.

Why You'll Love It: All About the Formula

  • Light Filter Technology: Works just like the filters that make your skin look amazing on the photo app you love. Transparent particles diffuse light in various directions, blurring imperfections while still keeping the subject in focus. Smashbox is not using the usual chalky particles to fuse the formula, which creates a muddy effect. Since the particles in this foundation are translucent, the pigment's true color always comes through.
  • Photoset Polymers: Taken from medical-grade liquid bandage technology, which sticks to skin for hours on end. You can always count on extended wear with this formula.

Just The Facts:

  • 8-hour wear
  • Non-drying. Non-caking. Non-settling.
  • Customizable finish - sheer or full - with a double-sided sponge
  • Buildable coverage
  • Formulated without parabens, sodium lauryl sulfate, phthalates, oil & fragrance
A specially designed double-sided sponge lets you customize your coverage. Use the velvety side for a natural, sheer-to-medium finish, or the smooth side for full coverage. Think of it as 2 filter effects in 1 take-anywhere compact.

I love this powder because it's great for all skin types, my teenagers use it as well as I, they have oily skin, and I have dry skin. It never looks cakey, it's very smooth, with great coverage. they jump in the pool all the time with it and it still stays on. The only powder as good as this one is the halo powder by Smashbox.

I never mind spending more money for a great product but this one fell short. It applies nice but only wears well for about 3 hours or so. Even after baking, and applying a very fair amountt of product - it creases heavily. I will stick to my drugstore powder that gives me all day wear for a fraction of the price.

Hi There! We recommend shade 3 or 4. Select shade 3 if you currently have a tan and will lose color as we head into winter, or select shade 4 if you plan ion maintaining your current color.

Would this powder work well for dry skin? I don't normally use powder for foundation, but for touch ups and blending out other makeup, I thought this one might be good, as long as it was ok for dry skin - didn't emphasize pores or create strange texture. Thanks!
