Peaches contain significant vitamins, minerals, and other factors, which promote healthy skin. Peaches are rich in vitamin A and vitamin C, which are antioxidants that help reduce free radical damage and possess anti-aging benefits. Naturally occurring acid in the skin helps prevent acne and repair acne scars. The organic acid found in peaches can boost skin acid's rejuvenating effects. Finally, pectin, a type of fiber, is found in the skin of peaches and helps to tone and firm skin. Sake, a wine made from rice, clears skin by facilitating blood circulation, while the alcohol also tightens pores and controls sebum production. Geishas, traditional artisans and performers in Japan, would add sake to bath water for softer, brighter skin. Following their fashion, sake spas offer luxurious sake baths and treatments. The fermentation process produces kojic acid, which has brightening effects on skin. The yeast used in the process also contains peptides, which are chains of amino acids that play a role in effective collagen production. SKINFOOD's Peach Sake Toner is a refreshing toner made with rice sake and peach extracts, rich in vitamins A and C, which minimize shine and the appearance of pores.
After cleansing, apply product using a cotton pad. Pat gently until the toner is completely absorbed.

Comments about Skinfood Peach Sake Toner:

I previously wrote a 5 star comment on this product. I wanted to update my old review but was unable to so I decided to update it here. all was well when using this product for a few days but I put it on before bed and the next day I wake up to 6 huge blemishes on my face in different spots and 4 of them were under the skin and kinda painful to the touch. I stopped using this product and the zits are finally starting to go away. I still like the product but I no longer think its for me.

Comments about Skinfood Peach Sake Toner:

really nice! i have been using it for a few days along with other products and it fits perfectly into my routine. I love how it doesn't stink or smell like witch hazel or alcohol it actually smells like peaches not the synthetic kind but it has a real peach smell to it. for my pores it seems to help i have big ones and they dont seem to close unless i use extremely cold water to wash my face but this takes some of the hassle out of that. it is a very good product for oily skin! not to mention the bottle design is super cute! i will be checking out more of skinfoods products

This toner is perfect, not only does it balance the pH of my skin but it also softens. Based on my experience with this product I definitely want to invest in the rest of the peach line by Skinfood. Bonus! It smells amazing, not overpowering and it doesn't linger all day.

Comments about Skinfood Peach Sake Toner:

I'll start off saying this...I have no idea how to be a girl. I'm a 34 year old freckle faced, pale skinned, ginger woman who has never learned how to take care of my skin, hair, or even put on makeup properly. The only skin care routine I've ever had was avoid the sun and wash my face with whatever soap I had in the shower. I am fortunate enough to look younger than my age but the skin on my face has started to look rough over the past couple years due to sunburns and my pores remind me of craters on the moon. Ok, maybe they aren't as bad as that but they have gotten bigger and my skin has gotten this dull dirty look to it that I can't stand. Anyway, I bought this toner yesterday after researching about 50 different kinds. I washed my face soap and water (nothing special), patted dry, put some Peach sake toner on a cotton ball and put it all over my face. First thing I noticed was the smell. It smells AMAZING. Sweet, light peach scent. Not too strong but definitely enough to make you go "mmmmm that smells great". Second thing I noticed was all the nastiness on the cotton ball that I hadn't gotten off my face when I washed it. Third thing was my skin was WAY brighter, not shinier, brighter. My skin tone was even, healthier looking, cleaner. I'll go with the term whiter, because for a pale girl that's exactly what it did for me. It whitened and brightened my skin which is a great thing and exactly what I needed. Fourth, the dreaded pores....they were legit smaller. The pores on my nose and my cheeks were much MUCH smaller. Maybe this is what all toners do, maybe not? I dunno. I was so thrilled that I thought maybe I was fooling myself so I used it on my boyfriend and it made his face look better and made his pores smaller. He wasn't too thrilled about it but I was. Lol So, now I'm hooked on this stuff. I woke up this morning and my skin still looked pretty darn good. I washed my face, used the toner again and BAM! My skin looks even better now.

Comments about Skinfood Peach Sake Toner:

I love this entire line of Peach Sake products. I for one love fragranced products, and I've never had a problem with my skin reacting to it. This toner is fabulous, only thing I love more is the serum.

Comments about Skinfood Peach Sake Toner:

I am actually reviewing all three of the skinfood peach sake products: toner, serum, and emulsion because I have been using all three together. I have had very large pores and extremely oily skin all my life and nothing I did would help relieve this and nothing would keep my makeup on longer than an hour. I have watched countless beauty gurus on youtube and have tried all the products and techniques they have suggested with no success. Nothing would keep my foundation on for no longer than 2 hours tops. By the end of the day I could scrape my foundation off with my finger like icing (I used to use Estee Lauder double wear and now I use Too Faced Born This Way) and my pores could be seen from space. Disgusting. I searched for skincare products that would help with oil and saw good reviews on the skinfood peach sake line. I have been using the toner (emulsion and serum) for nearly a week now but the results I have gotten in that small of a time was worth sharing. I now can go a full 8 hours WITHOUT having to blot, powder, or just redo my makeup! Its soooooo amazing. My foundation looks great when I come home when before I would be in horror at the sight I saw in the mirror. Now I only have a little bit of shine. The toner does not overly dry the skin. Just by itself I have noticed that my skin goes a lot longer before getting oily. When It does get oily it isn't like a grease pool on my face but more of a normal amount.
