Peach Sake Pore Serum

Item #: 2305346 Size: 1.5 oz

SKINFOOD's Peach Sake Pore Serum is a soft essence containing rice sake, peach extracts rich in vitamins A and C, and silica powder, which create a matte effect and minimize the appearance of pores.

Peaches contain significant vitamins, minerals, and other factors, which promote healthy skin. Peaches are rich in vitamin A and vitamin C, which are antioxidants that help reduce free radical damage and possess anti-aging benefits. Naturally occurring acid in the skin helps prevent acne and repair acne scars. The organic acid found in peaches can boost skin acid's rejuvenating effects. Finally, pectin, a type of fiber, is found in the skin of peaches and helps to tone and firm skin.

Sake, a wine made from rice, clears skin by facilitating blood circulation, while the alcohol also tightens pores and controls sebum production. Geishas, traditional artisans and performers in Japan, would add sake to bath water for softer, brighter skin. Following their fashion, sake spas offer luxurious sake baths and treatments. The fermentation process produces kojic acid, which has brightening effects on skin. The yeast used in the process also contains peptides, which are chains of amino acids that play a role in effective collagen production.
After emulsion, gently apply product to targeted areas in a circular motion. Pat until completely absorbed.

Comments about Skinfood Peach Sake Pore Serum:

I can never find products to suit my sensitive and oily skin. I thought maybe I should try Korean beauty products since I've heard great things about them. This product is a hit with my skin! It feels wonderful and smells so yum! Never greasy, glides right on, and makes my skin feel and look spectacular! This is a new staple in my beauty routine!!

Comments about Skinfood Peach Sake Pore Serum:

this is definitely mattifying and smoothing. it doesn't make my skin feel dry or dehydrated. the smell is amazing too. the only thing I would say is that it doesn't do much for my pores.

I'be been using it as primer and it stays all day! It actually mattifies your skin. I sometimes just wear it without foundation because it makes my skin feel so good! Plus it comes in a cute bottle!!

Comments about Skinfood Peach Sake Pore Serum:

I am actually reviewing all three of the skinfood peach sake products: toner, serum, and emulsion because I have been using all three together. I have had very large pores and extremely oily skin all my life and nothing I did would help relieve this and nothing would keep my makeup on longer than an hour. I have watched countless beauty gurus on youtube and have tried all the products and techniques they have suggested with no success. Nothing would keep my foundation on for no longer than 2 hours tops. By the end of the day I could scrape my foundation off with my finger like icing (I used to use Estee Lauder double wear and now I use Too Faced Born This Way) and my pores could be seen from space. Disgusting. I searched for skincare products that would help with oil and saw good reviews on the skinfood peach sake line. I have been using the serum (toner and emulsion) for nearly a week now but the results I have gotten in that small of a time was worth sharing. I now can go a full 8 hours WITHOUT having to blot, powder, or just redo my makeup! Its soooooo amazing. My foundation looks great when I come home when before I would be in horror at the sight I saw in the mirror. Now I only have a little bit of shine. The serum (and emulsion) are dry to the touch once applied with a slight powdery feel to it, but only slight. Once applied I notice that my pores are less noticeable. However, when I wash everything off at the end of the day, my pores do not really look any smaller. I think this line just does a really good job at blurring and filling the pores and it does a FANTASTIC job at controlling oil production.

          My new favorite thing!

Comments about Skinfood Peach Sake Pore Serum:

This stuff is almost magical. I had been using a $40-45 pore minimizer from Mary Kay, which was helping but it took several uses, plus the major price difference. I bought this serum on a whim at Ulta, and the first time I put it on I noticed the difference. I have combination skin, and usually only get oily around my nose, which melts off makeup within a few hours. Using this after morning cleansing and toner has helped so much! It absorbs quite fast and your skin feels so smooth. I've now ordered the peach sake toner to go along with it and am so excited to try it.

Comments about Skinfood Peach Sake Pore Serum:

Basically everything this product claims didn't prove itself to me and my combo skin. In fact, I had pimples pop up where I usually don't get them... but where applied the serum! BLERGHHH no reduction in shine, pore size, acne scars, or wrinkles so won't purchase again

This has been a staple in my skincare for years and I am so happy that Ulta is finally carrying this brand. It is a mattifying serum so great is you have enlarged pores and oily skin. I have tried soo many SKINFOOD products and I would never say that this brand is misleading since it gives you the list of ingredients.

Comments about Skinfood Peach Sake Pore Serum:

I use this after using the peach sake toner on my oily t-zone only. Works great for oily skin, reduces oil production and made my pores smaller. Smells awesome. Do not recommend using on non oily parts of face.
