Peach Sake Emulsion

4.6 oz Item 2305338

Peaches contain significant vitamins, minerals, and other factors, which promote healthy skin. Peaches are rich in vitamin A and vitamin C, which are antioxidants that help reduce free radical damage and possess anti-aging benefits. Naturally occurring acid in the skin helps prevent acne and repair acne scars. The organic acid found in peaches can boost skin acid's rejuvenating effects. Finally, pectin, a type of fiber, is found in the skin of peaches and helps to tone and firm skin. Sake, a wine made from rice, clears skin by facilitating blood circulation, while the alcohol also tightens pores and controls sebum production. Geishas, traditional artisans and performers in Japan, would add sake to bath water for softer, brighter skin. Following their fashion, sake spas offer luxurious sake baths and treatments. The fermentation process produces kojic acid, which has brightening effects on skin. The yeast used in the process also contains peptides, which are chains of amino acids that play a role in effective collagen production. SKINFOOD's Peach Sake Emulsion is a light and refreshing emulsion with peach and Japanese sake extracts. It tightens pores, reduces the appearance of enlarged pores, and controls oily skin with excessive sebum.
After toner/serum application, dispense an ample amount onto palms. Smooth gently over entire face until completely absorbed.

Comments about Skinfood Peach Sake Emulsion:

This product is a great moisturizer! I saw a review about using it as a cleanser and washing it off but that is not how it is supposed to be used. I apply it to my face after toner and it absorbs very quickly into my face. It also smells awesome!

    It was okay

Comments about Skinfood Peach Sake Emulsion:

I have been using this product almost a month and let me tell you this product does not help take makeup off if you wear long wear makeup and also when you wash it off it leaves like a weird feeling on your face like you still have the cleanser on but it's not. I have to use a lot just to get the job done. Smells good but I won't be buying again.

Comments about Skinfood Peach Sake Emulsion:

I like this product because it's lightweight and absorbs quickly into my skin. It has helped in moisturizing my skin and aided in the healing process for discolored breakouts (makes the redness go away faster). I have oily acne prone skin, but skin that needs moisture. This product is helping me attain that! Makes my pores smaller as well. I DON'T like the packaging or the smell. There is no pump and I find myself slamming the bottle against the palm of my hand to get it to come out. I'm also not fond of the smell of peach, however if you like peach it would probably smell nice to you.

Comments about Skinfood Peach Sake Emulsion:

I didn't even think to check the ingredient list before I bought it. Now I wish I had. Alcohol should not be an ingredient in face cream. It dries and burns a little going on. Very disappointed. I will probably return it.

I use this along with the peach pore serum, and they have changed my life! I had the hardest time finding a lightweight everyday skin regimen that wouldn't break me out, and this is a total game changer for me. It has helped keep my skin moisturized, reduce breakouts and redness, and reduce my pores. Couldn't go with out this stuff.

Comments about Skinfood Peach Sake Emulsion:

I've been trying this product for almost a year and It's just not for me. I have normal/dry skin, and especially dry skin around my nose/chin. While it is lightweight and silky feeling on the skin, it didn't moisturize my drier spots at all, and sometimes irritated those areas instead of helping them. I did use it along the Peach Sake Toner. If you have more normal/oily skin I would recommend as a moisturizer.

Comments about Skinfood Peach Sake Emulsion:

I have combination skin and have tried tons of different lotions. They're either too greasy or not moisturizing enough. This one is perfect. My skin has evened out beautifully. This has shrunken my pores, matified my skin, and leaves my face soft. No more breakouts or blackheads! Best of all, I hardly ever need to use foundation or concealer anymore.
