Comments about Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Foundation:

I have really oily skin but when I use this foundation, it's almost like I have a combination complexion, If any areas are dry (even after I use moisterizer & primer), the foundation gets very patchy. This tends to get worse as you try to layer it. It also dries extremely quickly so any blending must be done pronto. I could not get a beauty blender to work with it AT ALL. I wanted to really like this b/c I love all the other Soap & Glory products but it's just not going to happen.

Comments about Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Foundation:

I have combination skin but get very oily around my nose so I figured I would give this a go. I'm very fair and this brand caters more to the pale people which is a nice change. It dries VERY quickly and does not blend well with a sponge. What I ended up doing to make application work for me was to add one pump of a much looser foundation to about 2 pumps of this then blend quickly with a very dense kabuki brush. Do NOT try and build up this foundation it will end badly. Does feel soft and smooth once dry and if very matte. If you have oily skin this is probably good for you!

Comments about Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Foundation:

Extremely, extremely drying. I'd only recommend this product to someone with incredibly oily or greasy skin. It does go on matte; however, it's difficult to spread and apply, and it wears off in flaky patches.

Comments about Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Foundation:

Great if you have olive toned skin like me! I love that it is very yellowy, which I can never find affordable foundation to match my skin. I love that it lasts pretty long even though my skin is soooo oily. I love the coverage it gives without looking caked. Oh my gosh and the lasting, do you know how hard it is for oily skin to have long lasting coverage? I saw a reviewer write that it was hard to apply and then say she said she had dry skin. Girl that aint the brand's fault, like you got matte foundation for dry skin so try again! This is totally easy to apply with a beauty blender or if you are in a rush, wash your hands and just spread it like lotion, then pat it with the blender. I love how even and matte the finish is. It is super easy to layer and my liquid illuminator doesn't move the bottom layer when applying it to my cheek bones. I am going to look at their other products!

Comments about Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Foundation:

Product dried too fast on face. Could not blend product properly beacuse of fast drying time. Left lots of uneven spots on face. Settled into pores when dry. Very very yellow . Not the best product for dry skin types. Had lots hopes for this one but, Soap and Glory did not deliver. This product needs to back to the drawing board. Does not live up to many of the other Soap and Glory products.

            not worth it

            By Grace

Comments about Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Foundation:

I was excited to try the product seeing they had a shade light enough for me only to find it oxidized like crazy and I turned orange. it also set to look cakey and bring out the texture in my skin and I could not apply powder over certain parts especially my highlight. I wish I could include pictures to show just how bad this looks

The Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Foundation color that may suit you best is Fair Enough, if your skin has a warmer/yellow under tone.

            • Q:

Do you have plans to expand your foundation color range in the near future? While I'm interested in trying trying your product the shade "Fair Enough" is still too dark for me by a good bit (and I'm a neutral rather than cool), and I'm certain you have customers for whom your current range is much too light as well...
