Comments about Peter Thomas Roth Oily Problem Skin Instant Mineral SPF 30:

I found it difficult to learn how to move the brush up and down, even with the instructions on the box. I was fearful of pulling the bottom off and losing the powder inside. When I tried the tester in the store, the bottom came off and the powder fell out.

Will not buy again.

Not being a scientist, I can only have faith that the UVA/UVB protection is as the product states.
My complaint is with the brush- it is coarse and the bristles fall out, resulting in having to pick black hairs off all over my face. I love the convenience of the product; the brush needs improvement. I will search for a similar product with a better brush. I would have rated it 4 or 5 stars if not for the brush.

I live in the South and it's summer time. Every day is sunny, hot and often humid. But with my already oily skin, sunscreen makes me look terrible. I look like a greasy mess almost immediately. So I was excited to hear about a dry, powder, sunscreen. I find it a little pricey but I was willing to spend it have a good product. I saw prior reviews about the packaging and I agree with them. If you are not very careful the powder will leak out of the bottom of the tube. You cannot twist it at all, not even to open and close it. If you do, small amounts of powder will fall out and into your purse/makeup bag.

The product itself works well and a pleasant side effect is that it seems to have a slight drying effect.

I really like the product but wish there was a way to click the product out. I end up just pressing against my hand before using. The bristles could be a little softer.
