      don't recommend

Comments about Almay Oil-Free Makeup Remover Towelettes:

i bought these because they were on sale but instantly regretted it after the first use. i usually wear a full face of makeup with bold shadows and waterproof mascara and while they did fully remove all that makeup they also irritated my eyes and skin. my skin felt dry after using these and my eyes were stinging like crazy after wiping off my eye makeup. this has never happened with other wipes and i thought maybe its just because i got a bit of the makeup remover in my eye but i tried them again and made sure not to get too close to my eye and it still made them sting using these around the eye area. definitely wouldn't recommend these and won't ever purchase again.

Does not remove all of makeup when using. A baby wipe works better in my opinion. It also stings my eyes and skin like crazy, as well as my clients. Won't be purchasing again.

Comments about Almay Oil-Free Makeup Remover Towelettes:

I have been using these wipes on my face and body to clean up and cool down my face and body after my daily morning jog for over a decade, and I am extremely distraught by the fact that Almay decided to drastically change the previous perfect formula. The "improved" wipes have virtually no moisture in them and are essentially the same as Almay's circular oil-free eye-makeup-remover cloths (which I do use every night to remove my eye makeup, since they are appropriate for that part of the face). Rather than leaving my skin feeling clean and refreshed, the new wipes leave it feeling (and smelling) bitter, as if it's been coated with unpleasant chemicals. Almay, please, *please* switch back to your previous formula.

So these things said they were good for taking off waterproof mascara and I used one and my eyes are watering and burning, I had to go rinse my face off and put drops in to soothe my eyes cause they were so bloodshot after using this wipe.

These used to be my absolute favorite makeup remover wipes. However, the "new and improved" formula is a step down to me. The wipes are much more dry now, which makes them less effective in taking off makeup. They used to take off my mascara easily and it's a battle now.
