Living Proof No Frizz Shampoo is a silicone-free rich lather shampoo for frizz-prone hair that when used as part of the No Frizz System* helps hair stay smooth and frizz-free. Powered by Living Proof's patented Healthy Hair Molecule (OFPMA), the No Frizz System:
  • Weightlessly blocks humidity
  • Smoothes hair texture so strands are polished and frictionless
  • Nourishes and conditions, leaving hair feeling moisturized

No Frizz Shampoo is ideal for all frizz-prone hair types. It is sulfate-free and silicone-free. Safe and formulated for color and chemically treated hair.

When used together, the No Frizz System* keeps frizz at bay and hair stays soft and smooth even on the days you don't wash and style.

Living Proof's patented Healthy Hair Molecule (OFPMA), is proven to be 70% more effective at blocking humidity than the most widely used anti-frizz technology that is based on silicone. OFPMA:
  • Creates a weightless invisible shield that wraps around each strand - blocks humidity and smoothes each strand
  • Is weightless, so hair is polished without feeling heavy or greasy
  • No Frizz weightlessly blocks humidity so hair is frizz-free, soft and smooth, without feeling heavy or greasy

*The No Frizz System consists of the No Frizz Shampoo, Conditioner and Nourishing Styling Cream
Apply No Frizz Shampoo to wet hair. Massage into a rich lather, focusing on roots. Rinse. Follow with No Frizz Conditioner.

Comments about Living Proof No Frizz Shampoo:

I decided to splurge on this shampoo because I have frizz-prone hair. I was disappointed in the ineffectiveness. I noticed no improvement in frizz. In addition, it really strips the oils out of the hair. I have colored hair and I found my hair immediately in need of a deep conditioning after one use. Use with caution.

Comments about Living Proof No Frizz Shampoo:

I really was excited to try this product and I have used it about 4 washes now and I'm disappointed. The shampoo and conditioner are SO expensive and I don't see an improvement, I really feel like my hair is worse using this product.

After watching Living Proof's videos of how this protects against humidity, I was excited to see if it would help with the frizziness of my hair.

I have pretty thick wavy/straight hair. This definitely cleans the hair thoroughly, almost to the point of being drying on my hair. You can feel a difference in the texture of your hair immediately in the shower. I mean it FEELS clean. But, It made it extremely tangly and not soft like I thought it would. It's so dry and so tangly. I don't think it improved the frizziness of my hair at all.

I've used it 4 times- I tried it on its own with no other products. One time I tried it with a small amount of Perfect Hair Day. And then 2 times with other products that I normally use to fight frizz, because I needed extra help with the frizziness, this shampoo and conditioner just didn't cut it. At the price point that it's at I would expect it to make my hair manageable and the frizz to be under control without needing to use a lot of other products. I didn't find that to be the case.

I probably won't use the shampoo or conditioner again, because my hair is just too dry when I use it. I'd rather use something from my grocery store, as sad as that is! My guess is, if you have light frizz and finer hair- this would be a great product for your hair. It cleans it really well and gives a ton of volume. It's almost more of a clarifying shampoo. If you are like me and are looking for something to smooth and tame your hair, I would invest in a different product.

I have fine curly color treated hair and I am 44. I used the Living Proof full but my hair tended to frizz. I used the Perfect hair day and it did a little better but still noticing some frizz. Currently I use an Aveda style prep and Redken mousse. Any other suggestions as to what I should use. Is there a better shampoo conditioner cream combo I should try that may tame my frizz better? I do like this brand.

                  • Q:

I am 52 years old and have some gray, but not a lot. My hair is naturally ash blonde and I get foil highlights every 2-3 months. My hair is very fine and pretty thin, but overall in good condition. It is straight on top, but the sides and underneath are quite wavy and prone to frizz from humidity, blow drying and increasing graying. I've been using LP volumizing shampoo/conditioner and like it, but am considering switching to either frizz control or timeless products for smoothness and shine, but don't want to give up fullness. It's hard to know what products to use because my hair is inbetween textures. What do you recommend? Thanks.

I am happy to help you! Our Timeless line promotes visibly healthier hair with every wash, while enhancing natural body and movement. Our No Frizz line helps eliminate frizz and block humidity and our Full Line provides natural fullness and body. I think you might really like the Timeless line, but you can combine franchises as well. For example using our Full shampoo with our No Frizz conditioner might be the perfect combination for you!

I am 34 with a lot of gray hair so I color it often. It is super thin and breakage happens because I straight iron it to tame the frizz/fly aways. I want softness but thicker hair with body and no frizz. It is so expensive and I don't know whether to use the frizz one, full, restore, timeless... or a mixture of styling creams/leave in treatments or pre-treatment along with which shampoo and conditioner. Help me choose please.
