Comments about Paul Mitchell Neuro Smooth 1.25'' Smoothing Iron:

It gets my hair super straight but I feel like the more I use it the more my hair falls out. I've been using it for half a year now and notice my hair is thinner, maybe because it gets it super straight or may be all the snagging. I always end up with a lot of hair in the sink, don't use it under 340 degrees. I used it at 400 and it burnt the nape of my neck's hair off.

Comments about Paul Mitchell Neuro Smooth 1.25'' Smoothing Iron:

The straightener I had for several years was about to clunk out so I researched and decided on this one. I had a decent coupon so I got it for a discount. I couldn't have done a better job, especially choosing blindly. This one is awesome. It heats up fast, has a lot of different heat settings, easy to use, has a 2 year warranty, and it is similar to a one-pass straightener, if you so slow and steady down the hair, one time is usually sufficient. I have medium length straight THICK hair and it works so good. If this one lasts a decent amount of time, I would probably most definitely repurchase! Don't be hesitant if you are in the market for a new straightener, this one is the one you need!

Comments about Paul Mitchell Neuro Smooth 1.25'' Smoothing Iron:

I'm very picky as to where I spend my money when it comes to straighteners. I've used chi, baby bliss, etc. when my last straightener Broke about a few months ago I've been borrowing my sisters original chi (the one with the red suede ) until I could find the right straightener. I have semi-manable hair I would say... curly, thick, frizzy ( I live in the south where humidity is our only season lol) and between medium-long hair. I first read reviews on the Paul Mitchell and thought I'd give it a try since I've never owned one.. I'm glad I did! This straightener does feel a bit cheap but once you use it you'll think otherwise! The digital settings is convenient and auto shuts off after whatever time you select ( you don't have to worry about leaving the house and realizing you forgot to turn off your straightener, we've all been there)... Heats up fast and doesn't take long to straighten hair. Best part is it doesn't snag hair!!!! So far it has not damaged my hair even after just going a lot lighter with my hair color( in the process of going blonde). If you haven't tried this straightener you should really think about trying it out!

My cricket hair straightener just died after 5.5 years :( I can't be without a hair straightener, so I rushed out to purchase this one after reading excellent reviews. I've only used it once, but let me tell you. It cut the time I usually take on my hair in HALF. I have medium length, very thick, very frizzy, damaged hair, and a LOT of it. Think of a lion's mane. That's my hair. I was able to straighten it in 10 minutes. You heard right, TEN. One pass only. It heated up to 450 in seconds, and straightened each piece of hair just as fast. If you are looking for a straightener, seriously. Look no further. This is the one.

I have straight, thick (I have a lot of hair, the individual strands are fine, color treated hair. I am trying to decide between the PM Neuro Smooth and the Express Ion Smooth+. I have heard great things about both. I would like to straighten and style my ends and also make loose curls (I have no texture to my hair whatsoever, my ends just tend to dry and flip out in the wrong direction). Which Iron would be better for my hair? Would the Neuro Smooth be too intense for my already straight hair? Do they both perform well in curling hair? Thanks.

Neuro Smooth 1.25" Smoothing Iron was transitioned to dual voltage about a year and a half ago.

The best way to check to see if your tool is Dual Voltage is by looking at the Safety Label located on the tool or on the power cord.

A tool that IS NOT Dual Voltage will say something similar to:
                    120V / AC, 60hz, 40W

A tool that IS Dual Voltage will have a voltage range of 110-240v, and a frequency range of 50/60hz, and will say something similar to:
                    110-240V~ 50/60hz 40W

Use of a Power Inverter/Voltage Converter to step up/down the voltage voids any and all warranty, and JPMS is not liable for any damage or injury caused by using one. Only a Plug Adapter which changes the plug type is allowed.,The Neuro Smooth 1.25" Smoothing Iron is dual voltage. You would need a plug adapter for the country you are visiting.

                    A:

The Neuro Smooth 1.25" Smoothing Iron is perfect for smoothing, flips and waves. To flip or wave: Close the iron over the hair at the place where you wish the wave to begin and rotate the tool 180 degrees. With firm tension, slowly pull the iron through the hair clockwise all the way through the ends.
