I use it almost every day. I put heat spray on my hair even though I wouldn't need to because the iron doesn't burn the hair

The product will produce a wave but the curl wasn't tight enough to make it through the day. I applied plenty of styling product but still by the end of the day it fell flat.

Comments about Hot Tools NanoCermanic 1.25" Flipperless Curling Wand:

I bought this for my mother (she has thin/fine hair) and it didn't work. No wave, let alone a curl. Used it on my hair (thick/coarse) and I couldn't get a wave or s curl until I held the finished part in my hand for few seconds and then let it go. 450F, for 10-15 seconds, then 5 seconds of holding.
I'm not willing to do that extra work in the morning as it's too time consuming. Lost faith in hot tools products after this one. I'll be returning it most likely.

Comments about Hot Tools NanoCermanic 1.25" Flipperless Curling Wand:

I have naturally pretty good hair with a little wave that can hold a curl up for 3 days. I was so excited to use this after spending a half hour in the store trying to pick out a new wand (not one employee asked me if I needed any help). So disappointed! It added a minimal wave to my hair that did not last. Not impressed!

Comments about Hot Tools NanoCermanic 1.25" Flipperless Curling Wand:

After reading all the reviews, both positive and some negative, I decided to purchase the curler. I was looking for a flipperless curler that would give my hair voluminous loose curls. This was SO disappointing. I've used other Hot Tools products, so I was surprised that this one took forever to heat up and did not even curl my hair. I have fine, naturally wavy hair, so there's no reason why I needed to turn this one on the highest setting to properly work. Even then my hair didn't curl. My Remington wand works 10x better than this. Tried it a couple times within one week with the same results so I returned it.

Does this work for shorter hair? Mine is below chin but not to shoulder. A salesperson said this is what I need for beachy waves but is the barrel too big?

                      A:

For shorter lengths, we'd suggest using a 1" barrel size, which offers versatile styling. You can still achieve loose, beachy waves with the 1"! :-)

                      A:

Yes, you can use it on all hair textures. For fine hair, we recommend adjusting to a low temperature setting for best results, and it's always smart to first apply a heat protectant styling product to your hair to help prevent damage from heat stying tools. :-)
