Finally, I can have nice curls..

By Trac

Comments about Hot Tools NanoCeramic Tapered Iron:

Let me start by telling you that I am not someone who is good with a curling iron or even a flat iron.. yes, I said a flat iron. I've just never been good at styling my own hair. I have A LOT.. I do mean A LOT of thick, coarse, straight / wavy (kinky), auburn hair. I am known for the very low maintenance hair do. Wash, comb, maybe blow dry & go. I consider a headband styling my hair for the day. I have tried many times to actually style my hair, only to fail, get frustrated and re-wash because it looks horrible. I bought this wand because it was on sale, not knowing the 1st thing about how or what a "wand" even was and let me tell you, it was easy to use after watching only 1 YouTube video, I was able to curl my hair. It looked like someone else did my it. I wish I could show you. My hair didn't frizz out & it seemed to hold the curl (which has NEVER happened in the past). Since I have so much hair, I only did a few sections. But the hair I did curl, even my husband said it did the job & then he started calling me "curly". I'm very happy with my purchase!

I have really straight and flat hair and I've been wanting a curling iron for a while and so when I saw this brand was on sale for really cheap on Black Friday, I got it. I absolutely loved it. I'm new to curling my hair and it's really easy for me to use and it doesn't feel like ots damaging my hair at all! 100% recommend!!!

It didn't work on my hair. After about ten minutes, my hair went almost straight. I ended up turning it up to the hottest setting and that still didn't work. I have stubborn hair and I find the wand works best on me. I currently have a lot smaller barrel in a different brand and wanted to try the 1 1/4" barrel. Unfortunately, I returned it.

Comments about Hot Tools NanoCeramic Tapered Iron:

I think my main issue with this is that it was too big for my hair but I didn't find I got smooth curls- I got kinks like you would from using a curling iron wrong. I had a wand already that I liked the way it worked better so I returned this one. It heated up quick and I like to cooled tip on the end and it was a good quality piece just not for me.

1-1/4" would be perfect! For chin length, you can even use a smaller barrel such as the 1" to achieve waves.

The difference is the material of each -

CeramicTI Tourmaline (purple) - Ceramic Tourmaline surface with titanium additive emits gentle far-infrared heat and negative ions to increase hydration and shine while reducing frizz.

24K gold plated (gold) - Even heat distribution create long-lasting curls and waves leaving hair looking smooth and glossy.

NanoCeramic (black & white) - NanoCeramic barrel creates an ultra smooth surface for frizz-free styles.
