Mavala Nail Shield

Mavala

Nail Shield

Item #: 2246968

The nail plate is composed of three layers. It is naturally the visible, outer layer that is particularly sensitive to outside elements and can very easily be damaged by too much sun, cold weather, detergents.

Mavala's Nail Shield is a unique formula developed to give nails resistance to protect them from daily tasks and other damaging elements. The nail can then correctly regenerate and strengthen itself, its growth being protected from breaking, flaking and impacts. Includes: Nylon Fibre Base (0.3 oz) and Protective Sealer (0.3 oz).
Phase I - Apply a coat of Nylon Fibre Base over the entire nail and allow it to dry; it forms a veritable trellis. The nail will be slightly rough. Phase II - Apply a coat of Sealer and let it dry completely. If the surface remains rough use another coat. The nail is now smooth, and you may continue your manicure.
Butyl Acetate, Ethyl Acetate, Nitrocellulose, Isopropyl Alcohol, Acetyl Tributyl Citrate, Phthalic Anhydride/Trimellitic Anhydride/Glycols Copolymer, Magnesium Silicate, Stearalkonium Hectorite, Nylon-66, Adipic Acid/Fumaric Acid/Phthalic Acid/Tricyclodecane Dimethanol Copolymer, Benzophenone-1, Methyl Methacrylate Crosspolymer, Citric Acid, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77491).

          • Apply every three days to control peeling

          Comments about Mavala Nail Shield:

My nails have severe damage due to over a decade of artificial nails. My nails were thin and tender, with severe layer peeling. This two step process controlled the tenderness and peeling with Phase 1, then sealed them with a natural looking product Phase 2. Don't apply too thick! I personally remove the product every three days, (due to my nail growth) file down my nails, wash and reapply. Due allow ample time between coats for best results. I highly recommend this product!

          Comments about Mavala Nail Shield:

I bought this hoping it would help my thin nails . I have only had it a week and I am not sure that it will be the miracle I was hoping for. I have really bad nails the crack and break . I have a vertical split on one of my nails that I am hoping that it will make strong enough to grow out past the crack. Been dealing with this issue for over a year and so far no luck. Hoping that this will be my miracle and that in a few months it will work. just not sure yet.

I love this product -- it's strange when you apply because it makes your nail look rough, but after applying the top coat or nail color, it looks great. I don't know if it is treatment polish, but my nails have been able to grow with this and have never grown with anything else!

                      Comments about Mavala Nail Shield:

I was looking for a strengthener after I removed my acrylic nails. I found this while browsing the store. It really bulked up the strength of my nails, however, it was a two step process and very thick which took a while to dry.
