Use after toning on clean face. A little goes a long way, let it soak in for a moment before you apply more as it takes 10-20 seconds to absorb. Your face will feel amazing with absolutely no evidence of the moisturizer aside from perfect skin, no residue or odor.

Comments about Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief:

I was given a number to Clinique skin care sets to try the first time I went into an Alta about a month ago. I fell in love with the toner but the other two products were not my favorite. I felt like the yellow moisturizer didn't really do anything for my face so when I spoke to an associate she recommended this product. I will admit it was a little pricier than I hoped for but I still bought it. It also is my new favorite from the clinique skin care line. I put this on my face twice a day. I have an oily T-Zone with dry cheeks, a dry forehead in certain spots, and living in Tempe, Arizona in the summer only makes it worse. This Moisture Surge is incredible and she even gave me a sample of the extra strength Moisture Surge that I only used once on top of my first application. I've never needed to use it again. If you have flakiness around your nose because of allergies or peeling around your cheeks because you're in your AC all the time this is the perfect product.

I have been blessed with good skin however started to freak out when I began noticing some fine lines/wrinkles showing up so early. Realized it was from lack of moisture in my skin so I went to Ulta and they gave me a sample...seriously lines gone in 2 days and my skin feels amazing! I have been hooked ever since. Yes it is a bit pricey but a little goes a long way and the benefits are totally worth it. I don't spend a ton of money on make up but this is a must have for me! There is a moisture mask that is slightly less expensive and work just as well (you just have to wash it off in the morning) but I really prefer this.

Comments about Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief:

I bought this looking for a strong moisturizer for day. It absorbs quickly and leaves a smooth finish, but it doesn't feel very moisturizing. I have been very dry lately and this didn't give me that ahhhhh soothing feeling. I will continue to use it and see if it gets better with continued use, but I will be getting a heavier night cream.

Hi! Clinique's Moisture Surge is a great moisturizer, and very popular. If you have an additional need to minimize fine lines, you may want to try Clinique's Smart Custom Repair Moisturizer. It will hydrate your dry skin as well as help with signs of aging. Depending on the severity of blemishes, I suggest using a 3 step skin care system. If you only have a few breakouts, you may want to try Clinique's basic 3 step skin care system, coupled with Clinique's Clinical Clearing Gel. This will cleanse, exfoliate and moisturize. I suggest using the oil free version in a skin type #3 or #4. If your breakout is a bit more of a concern, please let me know the degree of breakout you are experiencing and I can suggest a more customize solution. Have a great week!

                    • Q:

I use to have really oily skin growing up, but since menopause my skin is extremely dry everywhere except my t zones. I have extremely sensitive skin though. I can't even use makeup remover wipes on my face, it breaks out in a bad rash. I have even tried the regular dermalogica brand face moisturizing mask & i had an allergic reaction. For face wash I use dermalogica adult acne line & it has done wonders for my skin. I just can't find something that soaks in my skin very well, my foundation won't cake bc of the moisturizer, isn't too oily, & wont break out my face. I like gel like products, but the neutrogena hydroboost doesn't work anymore. I like the light weight feel of it, just isn't enough moisturizer. I have always heard great things about Clinique. So what would you suggest I try for a moisturizer? What eye cream would you suggest made by Clinique?

                        A:

Hi! Moisture Surge is one of our most popular items, so you are wise to consider it as an option. It is very lightweight on skin and will not cause breakout. Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief formula is for all skin types, but if you are feeling a lot of tightness, there is another Moisture Surge product that gives more intense moisturizing benefits. It is more of a cream vs a gel, but it still feels more lightweight on skin than most traditional cream formulas.
As for eye cream, we make several, and I would choose one for you based on your main skin goal around the eye area. For example, if it's dryness, All About Eyes Rich is a nice option. If it is de aging, Clinique Smart Eye Treatment is a nice option. Please share your skin goals and I can offer advice around your needs.
Thank you for your questions and your interest in Clinique! We look forward to working with you!

Hi! Thank you for your question. We would love to offer a sample of this product to you! In all Ulta stores that carry a FULL line of Clinique product, we have jars specifically for sampling Clinique product. You may want to call ahead of time to guarantee that the store carries the full line, but there are several in the Houston area. We look forward to working with you!

Hi! Yes, this is oil free and non acnegenic, so all skin types can use it. It is very popular and feels weightless on skin. Thank you for your question and have a wonderful week!
