Comments about MAC Mineralize Timecheck Lotion:

The girl at Ulta swayed me to this instead of the one I wanted and went to get, the regular MAC visage primer. I did not like this at all. I put it on over my moisturizer to use as a primer. It did not go on well, soak in very well or help with my pores. Too heavy for a primer. Was not matte. Not good for oily skin.

Comments about MAC Mineralize Timecheck Lotion:

M.A.C global artist Vimi Joshi recommended this product to me, because its moisturising without making my skin look greasy. and it sure feels great and moisturising.
I love how this product can be used for a number of things, like making a full coverage foundation feel lighter. its very lightweight and almost liquedy but great as a primer as its kind of tightening and firming.

    Smooth tightening effect

Comments about MAC Mineralize Timecheck Lotion:

Ok so im a male flight attendant and i wear foundation because it's just part of the job. Lol. I decided to try a new foundation as i had been using Studio sculpt but in an NC which i was matched with but i didnt like the yellowish tones and it never seemed to set. I felt like powder made it look less natural (i didnt want to look like i was wearing makeup, per se). I had seen videos of Prolong wear and so i decided to get matched for it and try it out there in the Macy's MAC counter. I fell in love. I then told the artist that i use a cheap primer and asked if there was anything in MaC line for oilyskin/large pores. Her eyes lit up. Shes like try this! And she rubbed some Timecheck lotion in on other side opposite of Prolongwear. I felt a slight cooling and smooth soft non oily feel. So impressed. Then she applied the prolongwear on top so i could compare. I LOVED the finished look. I feel like u cant tell i have anything on. Looks so natural. So smooth and matches my skin tone perfectly. The ONLY complaint i have, well 2. One i havent experienced but i know as i get down to the end of the bottle it will be hard to get all of it out due to design. Also (maybe yur supposed to let Timecheck set? But there is a slight i mean barely noticeable sticky'ish to the touch where foundation alone seemed to set as if it were powdered. Smooth almost airbrush effect. Gonna try letting it set a few min next time before applying foundation. But still i rated it 5 because my skin felt firmer and my pores were noticeably smaller. I love love love both of these products!! They work perfectly together.

Excellent Primer for Dry Skin and Large Pores!

    By Janelle

    from Massachusetts

Comments about MAC Mineralize Timecheck Lotion:

I have very dry, flaky skin with large pores. This becomes even more exaggerated when I apply makeup. I had a MAC consultant put this on my skin before applying a foundation and it's never looked so good! I think half the battle is using it properly. She used a 170 brush and applied using a stippling motion, but only where I needed it--not all over my face. Basically, where I have issues with my pores. I use this conservatively with the pro wear foundation and it looks fantastic! I've even noticed that my skin looks better, too. Definitely worth it!

I've given this several tries. I can't see a difference with using it. Does nothing for my pores. Had to resort to another brand

I have oily skin and i felt like this moisturizer made it worse. I felt like an hour after applying i needed to add more powder. Not for oily skin.

    It's okay

    By Amanda

Comments about MAC Mineralize Timecheck Lotion:

It's an okay product. The label mentioned "hydrating", not sure about that. I had to use a light moisturizer under it because my face felt a little dry (especially during the winter). One thing for sure it definitely reduces the appearance of pores and it gives your makeup a smoother finish. *Keep in mind there's other products that can do the same for less money.*

    Not impressed

    By Kara22

    from Cincinnati

Comments about MAC Mineralize Timecheck Lotion:

The workers and reviews ranted and raved about this product, but I am not impressed. I have to pump several times to get enough product to spread onto my face, as it does not spread over easily. I have combination skin, however this makes it appear more oily. Although I love how it feels, I am disappointed that it does not spread easily and I am not seeing a noticeable difference, other than more oily skin. It is definitely not worth the price, I will not be buying it again.

Not a good moisturizer or primer

    By DJ

    from Colorado

Comments about MAC Mineralize Timecheck Lotion:

This product was promoted to me when I went in to a MAC store for a primer because it also has moisturizer in it, why not save myself a step in my makeup prep? I have come to find that it does not do an a good job as a moisturizer or a primer, especially in Colorado's dry climit. I wasn't dissatisfied enough to wtite a review until I got to the last 1/6 of the bottle. It is the last 1/6 of the bottle where you find that the bottle design is completely flawed. You come to a point where you have to unscrew the cap, root around with the straw in order to get at the last bit in the bottle. And forget about finishing the thing, there will be always be something left in the bottle when you end up having to throw it out. This product is too expensive to not work well and to watch some of it be thrown away. Definitely disappointed.
