The texture is good, but it's hard to apply. The color looks pretty yellow on my skin. Not exactly what I was going for.

I thought I needed the fair/light coverage but the creamy natural is better and blends well with other physician formula products- like the CC cream I love!

This is a great every day powder. It doesn't feel or look like its caked on. Great coverage for me. I have very mild acne on my chin and it covered it great without having to put a layer of cover up on.

          One big mess

Comments about Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Airbrushing Loose Powder SPF 30:

I was looking to try some new powder, so I just grabbed this off the shelf for a cheap try. I never even wore it because I was so turned off. First, the packaging is in a weird plastic bubble. The lid is a plastic dome exactly like the kind of plastic shells you get out of a gumball machine. Now, I'm not normally a packaging snob. I don't care what it looks like, as long as it works. But this realllly felt and looked cheap. It includes this tiny little brush which is too small to be of use for full face application, and the brush is seated upside down on top of the insert lid, all of which has to be removed in order to access the product. It is a two-handed operation.

The powder itself, as soon as I lifted the insert lid, a poof of powder went everywhere. It is very finely milled and dusty and it just comes out in clouds of powder. By this point, I was about done with it, it was already so fussy. I did try a little on one of my problem areas, and it went on very thick. The smell isn't offensive, but it does smell a little burnt. I gave up.

It might be a really nice product with full use and a little care in handling, but I got too frustrated with it and tossed it.

Comments about Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Airbrushing Loose Powder SPF 30:

Some months ago I bought this same SPF loose face powder in a medium shade in the SPF 30. I liked it but it was too dark. So I bought the translucent light and that is too light. So I mixed the 2 together. (Fortunately I had saved a loose powder dispenser from another company.) The first time I tried the mixture it was still too light, so I have tried mixing them up again. I haven't used it since but hope it will be acceptable. My dermatologist says I must use sunscreen all the time. I prefer the loose powder to pressed powder or lotion.

I was thrilled to find a talc-free mineral powder that is light colored AND for warm skin tones (translucent light). Most companies' lightest shades are cool-toned... Thank you PF for making a great product for sensitive, acne-prone skin that is light in color AND WARM toned! Just because this shade has the word 'translucent' doesn't mean it won't cover. It provides light to medium coverage, and will provide full coverage if you use a good moisturizer underneath. It's important to use your own good kabuki brush, though. Overall - WIN!

Comments about Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Airbrushing Loose Powder SPF 30:

I got this to see if I could tolerate a mineral type powder make up. I use the BB cream from Physicians Formula and have for years.
With aging however, came some new challenges, one of which was rosacea.
I had been experimenting with some different, more 'full coverage' type brands, as pores were also looking a bit worse.
That's when I really started having problems.
So, as a last ditch effort, I grabbed this to see if it would at least help keep my skin clearer. Would have to just deal with the other aging issues, but the constant breakouts were yuk.
                Pleasantly surprised and very happy!
My skin began clearing up from the rosacea immediately, you can build coverage if needed and it does not make my pores look like a caked up mess.
                I really, really like it!
My only suggestion would be to invest in a couple decent brushes, one for general application, and a smaller one for covering trouble spots. The one it comes with is way too rough for me, and tooooo small.
