Had this dryer for 9 months when it shocked me and started sparking when drying my hair one morning. Disappointed because it was a decent dryer while it lasted.

Comments about Elchim Milano Turbo Ceramic Dryer:

I bought my dryer over a year ago. Worked great the first year, till the motor died. I mailed the dryer with $12.00 to their repair shop. My dryer was serviced, and a new motor was installed, and my dryer mailed back, all within one week. Fast forward 3 months, this morning while using the dryer to fix my already dry hair, I felt a little zap where the power switch is. A few minutes later while styling the front of my hair I smell electrical burning, and hear zapping, and popping from the dryer. Scared me. Thank God for my husband being a Master Electrician, and teaching me what to do with an electrical hazzard vs other fires so I could prevent myself and house from being burned.

I have never owned this nice of a blow dryer but now i see why it costs the price it does. My hair literally came out looking beautiful like I got a blow out. When I use my high end conair dryer it can't even compete. Plus I wash every few days and on day 2 and 3 my hair continued to be frizz free and keep its style with just a little flat ironing and dry shampoo. I have thin frizzy hair past my shoulders and this blow dryer is amazing for what it can do to style it.

I just bought this, and I LOVE it! I will never own a drug store dryer EVER again!! I have long hair and live in Florida, so blow drying my hair when it's warm out is a no go because you get hot and sweaty. Not with this one!!!

Have only used it a few times, so I'm still getting used to it; thus the 4-stars. Was recommended by a friend, but had to wait until Christmas to use gift cards to purchase.

Comments about Elchim Milano Turbo Ceramic Dryer:

Been wanting to upgrade for a long time. As the Elchim 8th Sense is not available at Ulta, I gave this one a try. It has a permanent cool setting so that you don't have to press a cold shot button. The ceramic heating is are nice. When you dry hair with ceramic it doeas not feel as dry to the touch from the outside immediately because it is drying from the inside out, like when you are in open air. That being said, it does not take any longer than a traditional dryer plus my scalp does not get fried. I also noticed the ergonomic handle when reaching behind for long hair. Buy!

Comments about Elchim Milano Turbo Ceramic Dryer:

I've always had basic brand dryers. I figured I would splurge for one since I always loved how my hair came out at the salon. I bought this and absolutely love it!! This is by far the best one I have ever used.

Comments about Elchim Milano Turbo Ceramic Dryer:

This hair dryer is life changing :) I've always used drugstore-type hair dryers in the past and thought "how different could a hair dryer really get to pay extra for it..?", but I was so wrong. Not only does this hair dryer dry my hair faster, I rarely have to use my round brush or straightener now. Using the tool that attaches, my hair is less frizzy and straighter than ever. Side note, it sounds different than my cheaper hair dryers, it is a softer, little quieter sound, for what that's worth to people.

It is a little heavy but worth it, in my opinion. I will be recommending this to my friends that have to dry their hair on a regular basis. Makes my morning routine quicker and easer.
