Micellar Cleansing Water Complete Cleanser Normal/Oily Skin

Item #: 2503135 Size: 13.5 oz

Often times in oily skin, over cleansing and exfoliating to remove excess sebum can strip the skin. L'Oréal Paris Micellar Cleansing Water formulated for Normal to Oily Skin is gentle on skin but removes makeup, dirt and excess oil in one step, leaving skin purified and looking mattified. HOW DOES IT WORK? Powered by tiny micelle molecules in water that cluster together to surround and lift away impurities and makeup with no harsh rubbing. THE RESULT? Excess oil is reduced. Skin feels perfectly clean and purified, with a mattified look.

Comments about L'Oréal Micellar Cleansing Water Complete Cleanser Normal/Oily Skin:

This product is excellent in removing make-up! It's gentle and wipes away residue without tugging at the skin. I use it to take off make-up, then I wash, then I use it again to fully remove mascara. It's very effective. I added this to my skin-care regime. I no longer have to buy make-up remover AND a eye make-up remover.

Comments about L'Oréal Micellar Cleansing Water Complete Cleanser Normal/Oily Skin:

I really like this micellar water! The bottle is a great size for squeezing out a generous amount on a cotton pad and the design is simpler (aka easier to use) than the Garnier one. It also doesn't leave a film like other micellar waters. I can actually just use this and go, vs others I feel the need to wash my face still. No fancy ingredients in this one, nothing anti-oxidizing or anti-aging, but the ingredient list is tiny, so if you have sensitive skin and just want a good Micellar water without any potentially irritating ingredients, this one is solid. You also get 400ml which is on par with Garnier and substantially more than the Yes to Cotton Micellar Water. Keep in mind that this one definitely doesn't remove waterproof makeup. Great for removing foundation etc, but you will need an eye makeup remover to remove anything waterproof. I would be interested to try the waterproof one and see if it can be used for both face and eyes. I got this for free but will be purchasing in the future!

        Sadly Disappointed

Comments about L'Oréal Micellar Cleansing Water Complete Cleanser Normal/Oily Skin:

I had read about this product many months ago and was excited to try it. I had no idea how to use the product so I made sure to read the instructions thoroughly. The first thing I noticed was that it says to soak a cotton pad in the cleanser and to cover your eye with it to remove eye makeup right above it saying to flush eye with water should contact occur. Anyone who has ever put anything soaked over the eye knows that some of it will get in. Whoever came up with this idea is obviously not trying to remove eye makeup. Also, it really bothered me that it wants you to use a disposable product to cleanse the skin. We are living in a world where we should be throwing away less, not more. Since I already had the product, I figured out a way around these two issues. I used my old makeup remover for my eye...no way am I putting something near my eye that cautions me not to get in in the eye. Second, I used some old T-shirt fabric that I use for cleaning the house instead of something disposable. The cleanser cleaned OK, but not as well as what I have been using and it felt like it left a film on my skin. I am really disappointed because I like to travel a lot to places with poor water supplies and I thought that this might do the trick. I will be going back to my regular cleansing methods for certain.

        Not as I expected

Comments about L'Oréal Micellar Cleansing Water Complete Cleanser Normal/Oily Skin:

I am new to "micellar water" and wasn't sure what to expect. It is unscented, is not at all greasy and feels just like water. I wanted it to particularly remove makeup around my eye area. Although it does what it says it certainly takes effort to remove long wearing eye makeup.

I think this product is super awesome. I put it on my face and it feels just like water, but gives you a feeling like you just wash your face with cleaner. It doesn't burn or anything unless you get it directly in your eyes. I will definitely be buying it in the future if you guys have it on the shelves.

        L'Oréal Micellar

Comments about L'Oréal Micellar Cleansing Water Complete Cleanser Normal/Oily Skin:

I am really enjoying this product! Easily removed makeup without scrubbing. I've been using this every evening to remove my makeup from the day (bb cream, coverup, mascara, and eyeliner) and it all comes off with ease. I have very sensitive skin and am often hesitant to try new products because of this. However, this product caused no skin irritation for me. I thought the liquid may leave my skin feeling oily, but it dries quickly with no leftover residue. My skin feels clean and refreshed. This is definitely a product I will continue to use and purchase in the store! My only critique is that I personally prefer an all-in-one remover, such as a make up wipe or cotton pad with product already inside. With this product you do need to purchase separate cotton swabs to put the product on, but I do feel it is worth the money because the remover works so well.

        L'Oreal Micellar Water Review

        By KatChad

Comments about L'Oréal Micellar Cleansing Water Complete Cleanser Normal/Oily Skin:

I was super excited to get this, as I've been wanting to try a micellar water for a while. I want really sure of what its purpose was, but I always want to try new beauty products and it's been on my list for a while. When it first came I was a little concerned because there wasn't any seal. I checked one at Ulta that also didn't have a seal so that made me feel a lot better. This product is great for getting rid of oils and mattifying throughout the day when I'm not wearing makeup. Unfortunately, it's not that great at actually removing makeup. While it did remove some, it did not remove all. I wear waterproof mascara and it barely did anything with that. I used a separate product to remove everything fully. It is gentle and I haven't noticed any irritation. I will keep using it to keep my face matte when not wearing makeup, but will not rely on it as a makeup remover. I also am not a fan of the no seal. It may work better for someone who doesn't wear a lot of makeup or waterproof mascara. It seems to be widely available, all three types were in my local Ulta, and relatively inexpensive. If you've been looking to try micellar water this would be a good choice as it won't put a big dent in your wallet unlike other popular brands.
