This kit for adult acne helps treat, clear and prevent the triggers that lead to breakouts. Use morning and night to help maintain consistently clear, healthy skin.

Medibac Kit Includes:
  • Clearing Skin Wash: Foaming, breakout-clearing cleanser (1.7 oz.)
  • Clearing Mattifier: Breakout-fighting shine control (0.5 oz.)
  • Overnight Clearing Gel: Clearing, purifying treatment (0.5 oz.)
  • Concealing Spot Treatment: Tinted topical breakout treatment (0.1 oz.)
  • Sebum Clearing Masque: Purifying, refining gel (0.75 oz.)

We recommend that first-time Dermalogica users visit an authorized skin treatment professional for a client consultation in an ULTA store.
Clearing Skin Wash: Work a pea-sized amount into a lather in wet hands. Apply to dampened face and throat, massaging in circular motions while concentrating on areas of congestion and oiliness. Avoid eye area. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Follow with Skin Purifying Wipes and prescribed Dermalogica MediBac Clearing regimen.

Clearing Mattifier: Cleanse the skin thoroughly before applying. Cover entire affected area with a thin layer one or two times daily. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day. Can be used under makeup, or alone in oily-prone areas, to reduce oily shine.

Overnight Clearing Gel: Cleanse the skin thoroughly before applying. Cover entire affected area with a thin layer at night. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs reduce application to every other night. For external use only, not to be swallowed. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, flush thoroughly with water. If irritation develops, discontinue use. Keep out of reach of children.

Concealing Spot Treatment: Dot onto finger and apply to afflicted area. Let stand for five seconds, then pat until blended in. Use until breakout has cleared.

Sebum Clearing Masque: Apply a smooth layer to cleansed face and throat (avoiding the eye area) three times per week. May also be used exclusively on the T-Zone. Leave on for 10 minutes, the rinse thoroughly with warm water. For external use only, not to be swallowed. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, flush thoroughly with water. If irritation develops, discontinue use. Keep out of reach of children.

    Comments about Dermalogica Medibac Kit:

Pre-cleanse oil was quite odd, but used with the cleanser my pores appear a lot cleaner. My skins texture after a week feels softer and smoother, blotchiness is no longer. It also seems to have evened out my skin tone. My face looks less irritated. I was a user of DDF, Peter Thomas Roth and Exuviance, none of those cleaned my skin like this without irritation.

My acne seems to be getting under control a little more since I started using this product a week ago. However, I wish there was a lotion included with the set. It seems to dry out my face. I'm not sure what lotion to get that won't counteract what the anti ance serums are trying to do.

            Comments about Dermalogica Medibac Kit:

I've been using this line in combination with the daily microfoliant and so far they have been working pretty well for me. I had Oily/Combination, acne prone skin w/ enlarged pores and blackheads. A complete mess. Since using the line (about a week so far), my skin is a little less oily but I've seen a pretty significant difference in the clogged pores I was having. Not too much of a difference in my under the skin pimples, but I'm going to give the line a little more time before I write it off. I'm also using the active moist sample that came in the kit and I really like it; it's not greasy and doesn't feel heavy on my skin. I see an esthetician in Ulta fairly regularly to receive blackhead extractions and the occasional chemical peel - she is also the Dermalogica rep & recommended this line to me. It's EXTREMELY expensive but might just be worth the price.

I am 28 with sensitive skin (cannot use benzoyl peroxide, a lot of fragrance, etc) and continue to search for a product to use for adult acne on my cheeks and chin line. Dermalogica was suggested. Any further suggestions?

                        A:

Thank you for your inquiry. We recommend using Breakout Control. This fast-absorbing gel contains natural antibacterial agents, including Lactobacillus Ferment, to help clear and prevent breakouts without over-drying the skin. An Azelaic Acid derivative helps control oil production for improved skin tone and texture. Tea Tree and antioxidant Zinc Sulfate also help soothe the skin. Contains Colloidal Silver, known to help eliminate bacteria and control acne. Formulated without artificial fragrances, colors or parabens.

I'm 23 years old and have struggled with acne in my teen years up till 22. I went off dairy for a year and my skin was perfect-no breakout! Now I'm getting acne all along my jawline and chin. And they're leaving scars. Will this product work for my sensitive, dry skin?

Thank you for your inquiry. For dry, sensitive skin we recommend using our normal/oily kit and spot treating with Breakout Control on your breakouts. The MediBac kit might be too active for your skin.

I'm 34 and get acne on my cheeks and jaw line. I have tried the ultra calming kit and it made me break out more, but didn't irritate my skin like other products have in the past. I do have sensitive skin, so finding products that work and don't cause my skin issues can be hard.

Is this product recommended for sensitive skin types?

I have always had problems with zits and pimples around my mouth and on my chin. However, I find products with benzyl peroxide to be too harsh and over drying for my skin, as my skin is not oily whatsoever. It is typically dry. What products would you recommend for somebody who struggles with zits and pimples, but has dry/sensitive skin? I have tried nearly everything, and nothing has helped to clear up my skin consistently without causing excessive drying and flaking.

I'm 30 and I'm having an issue with adult acne. I've always had oily skin and blackheads but a few years ago I started getting more breakouts, large pores and very oily skin. I've been using the Murad acne line for 2 years and it worked for a while but it has stopped working. My skin is dull, flakey and broken out. I use my clarisonic every other day to daily once a day. Would this be the best line to start with or is there something else you'd recommend?

Thank you for your inquiry. The MediBac kit will help to fight and prevent breakouts. We recommend supplimenting this kit with Ultra Calming Mist, Daily Microfoliant and Active Moist. These products will help to prevent dehydration from causing sensitivity. be sure to use the masque 2-3 times a week.

I just purchased this kit today as well as the Active Moist and Daily Microfoliant. How should I be using each one of these products? Like what order should I use them in? And should I have a different morning/evening routine?

Thank you for your inquiry. Use Clearing Skin Wash morning and night, only use Daily Microfoliant once a day, use Sebum Clearing Masque 2-3 times a week, Overnight Clearing Gel is used at night and Active Moist is used during the day. Clearing Mattifier is used on oily areas as needed during the day to mattify the skin.

Hi I am 29 years old and have been struggling with acne more now than in my teens. Don't get me wrong I had it back then too but it is much much worse now. I have a terrible habit of picking the scabs when dry and popping what I can when ready. I've tried so many products I haven't really seen much difference in. I at times have oily skin than at times normal I'm guessing just of course full of acne my cheeks are overexposed with acne scars, large pores and I have lots of craters too all over cheeks mainly but have breakouts all over face really. Mainly in cheeks and jawline. Will this help with all these concerns? Please help. I literally hate going out anywhere unless I have makeup to over all the damage.!!

Thank you for your inquiry. For your skin we recommend using the MediBac kit in addition to Ultra Calming Mist and Active Moist to help keep skin hydrated. We also recommend switching to Charcoal Rescue Masque once the masque in the kit runs out. Use it 2-3 times a week consistantly.

Thank you for your inquiry. We recommend using our MediBac kit, Ultra Calming Mist and Daily Microfoliant. If your skin feels like it needs more hydration try moving up to Active Moist moisturizer. It is still oil free, but more hydrating than Oil Control Lotion which comes in the MediBac kit.
