Stinks real bad. You spray it on your brushes and than you have to wait for them to dry you might as well deep clean them of your going to wait

I have tried several kinds of brush cleaner and this the best I have used. Both the Rose and Citrus scents are pleasant. It is quick drying and very efficient.

          Used Every Day!

Comments about Japonesque Makeup Brush Cleanser:

I started using this product because of breakouts. I just don't have the time to wash my brushes after every use so trying to find a reasonable medium was my mission. I started spraying and wiping my brushes with this (along with other changes) and I was able to really tackle my acne. The smell is really nice. I don't go a day without using it!

Comments about Japonesque Makeup Brush Cleanser:

It does its job! Smells good, only reason i gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the fact that it is in a spray bottle means that the actual product gets wasted and although the smell is good it may be too strong for some people

I use this on all my brushes right after I use them everyday. I still deep clean every week or two but this cleans the color out of my eye brushes and cuts down on the residue from liquids and creams in my synthetic brushes. I spray onto a tissue and swirl my brushes on that. Love the rosewater smell, hint of lemon as well

                          A:

Drying time will vary according to brush type and thickness. No need to use water! Here are the directions:

Hold the bottle approximately 6 inches away from the brush and direct nozzle towards the brush head. Evenly disperse the cleanser into the brush head. Gently rotate the brush head in a circular motion on a paper towel or terry cloth allowing all of the makeup to be removed from the brush head. Repeat as needed. Dry excess moisture with a terrycloth or paper towel; reshape bristles and lay flat to dry. Do not dry with brush hairs in upright position. Drying time will vary according to brush type and thickness. Ensure brush is completely dry before re-using.

Yes, you can absolutely spray it onto your makeup sponges for a quick cleanse, though we still do recommend deep cleaning your sponges from time to time with brush shampoo such as Japonesque Solid Brush Cleanser and water.

For quick cleaning, spritz the formula directly onto the brush, and wipe with a paper towel. Make sure the brush is completely dry before using.
