It actually works!

Comments about L'Oréal Magic De-Crease Eyelid Primer:

I've always had very fine hair and have tried just about every product on the market until Loreal's Ever Strong shampoo. At 65 years old I am amazed at how it works. I've even gotten a few compliments. This product doesn't give me thicker hair....it just looks that way!

It didn't seem to do anything! Didn't keep my eyeshadow in place at all. Threw it out.

Might have had a bad batch, but it seemed to be dry as soon as I opened the tube. Even blending it out with fix plus on a beauty blender didn't work with it.

        not as good as NYX

        By becca

        from NJ

Comments about L'Oréal Magic De-Crease Eyelid Primer:

I don't really like this- I put it on this morning and set it with a translucent powder and then applied my shadow, and even though at first my eye look was great, a few hours later it's all muddied together and creasing. My NYX proof it is way better, I have to go pick another one up.

This could be better. It is difficult to apply and not a good formula for an eye primer. I have to use my beauty blender to keep it from clumping and it doesn't blend easily.

Comments about L'Oréal Magic De-Crease Eyelid Primer:

I am a pro makeup artist as well as artist of the canvas so while I may do things a bit out of order, I find them to be more effective. First I do my primer. Then foundation, then concealer (which is backward for most people), then set with setting powder. Once my eyebrows are done & lids are primed with concealer & setting powder, I use an eye primer on just the lid (for this I dabbed on with the wand and blended with a concealer brush trying to keep the product away from the crease). Then I pack on a pop of shimmer color with a dense c-brush (shimmer helps give me a lid as I have hooded eyes so a good primer is important to me). I also use a small amount of primer on the browbone to make my bone really pop & lift (after the bone is primed & dry I use a flatbrush to apply a matte white to line directly under the eyebrow and blend down, then I match my skintone with a highlight and blend onto the browbone with a fluff brush). Then I contour with my transition color and then add depth into the crease and blend out before applying my liner, mascara, and then lashes. Then I contour my face, highlight, and blush. I do lipstick then my liner (I told you I do some things backward but these ways are more akin to painting an actual picture, large areas first then details, and I find liner doesn't keep lipstick in place longer for me so I color the lips with lipstick omitting the liner area and then overline and blend the liner in). Then I spray setting spray. Then pop lip gloss on the center of the lower lip. All done. What I found after using this primer after a pro application is that the lid color faded slightly & it did crease. I would recommend purchasing the Lorac Pro Eye Palette (the larger one with the black case with 8 matte shades & 8 shimmer shades) because besides not having greens, this is a great staple palette and comes with an eye primer that while may not be as hyped as the Urban Decay Primer Potions, does just as good of a job and doesn't crease.

Comments about L'Oréal Magic De-Crease Eyelid Primer:

I don't understand why people say "drugstore cosmetics" like there's something wrong with them. This primer is excellent. I like it better than the Lorac primer and as well as smashbox photo finish primer. It glides on smoothly, dries evenly, and really helps even out the veins on my lids. Makeup doesn't budge for hours and hours. And the price tag is nice too lol. I also use cream shadows, and I usually don't use a primer with them, I just touch up. This helps so much that I don't need to do anything to keep my shadow on but sit and look pretty haha. I recommend this product.
