Comments about Dermablend Loose Setting Powder:

Overall I thought this was a great product. However, this setting powder did not work for my already dry skin. So I would not suggest it to someone with dry skin it feels like it dries your face out even more. Maybe great for oily skin types.

This is by far one of the best setting powder especially for the under eye. No cake and no heaviness. I have pretty dry under eyes but moisturize daily and this does not look dry.

Thank you for asking about Dermablend Loose Setting Powder. Cool Beige is recommended for medium to tan skin tones, Warm Saffron for tan to deep skin tones and Original for all skin tones(transparent upon application).

I am in the shade Caramel from the Born this Way Too Faced foundation. Will the Warm Saffron or the colorless setting powder be better for me? I wanted to use the powder to set my concealer.

                  A:

Thank you for asking about Dermablend Loose Setting Powder. Warm Saffron may be too dark as this shade is recommended for use with tan to deep skin tones. Cool Beige is lighter and can be used with medium to tan skin tones and of course original is for use with all skin tones.

This product is a loose powder that is applied over any Dermablend foundation or concealer to set makeup and reinforces wearability for up to 16 hours of consistent color wear that is smudge and transfer resistant.

It is not necessary to use moisturizer, but if you do we suggest you allow it to absorb and dry completely before applying the Leg and Body Cover.

We do not suggest using the Loose Setting Powder over the Intense Powder Camo. Instead you can use Set + Refresh which is a lightweight spray that locks in makeup and enhances skin's overall complexion throughout the day.

Is this good for setting concealer under the eyes? Also, is the warm saffron a good color to choose for my dark skin tone? For reference, I wear deep honey in the Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation and I mix soft sable and cocoa (111 and 112) in the L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte foundation. Thank you.

Using the Setting Powder over your foundation helps to ensure smudge- and transfer-resistance for up to 16 hours. It does not have a waterproofing effect.
