Comments about Dermablend Loose Setting Powder:

I bought this powder with high hopes since it's a full ounce of product and most powders come with much less than that, however I have dry skin and on me it caked up and emphasized all of my flaky areas and made areas that I don't typically have a problem with look dry as well. I think this would work well for anyone with oily skin though, it just wasn't for me.

Comments about Dermablend Loose Setting Powder:

I have very oily skin with acne and was looking for a compact but the powder seems to work for half a day before I blot or add powder again. It comes with a nice powder puff and after a minute I use a face brush to wipe off extra. The weather has been cool in FL so I am curious to see how it works in the hotter months. The color matched my skin well and the whole line of dermablend seems to improve my skin.

I was using Laura Mercier's finishing powder and going through it so quickly ($$$) so I was introduced to Dermablend and was skeptical because I am usually a "Brand Buyer" but I love this finishing powder! And so much for less than $25. I apply with my damp beauty blender.

Comments about Dermablend Loose Setting Powder:

Messy, messy, messy. Powder gets everywhere no matter how I try to pour it out. I'm a fair skinned, red head and it still stays white on my skin no matter how I apply it. I found applying it with a beauty blender or baking with it works the best. That's it though, if I use it anywhere other than under my eyes it cakes up and makes any imperfections pop out even through my foundation. I wouldn't repurchase, NYX and ELF loose powders work better.

Thank you for asking about Dermablend Loose Setting Powder. Warm Saffron may be too dark as this shade is recommended for use with tan to deep skin tones. Cool Beige is lighter and can be used with medium to tan skin tones and of course original is for use with all skin tones.

We do not suggest using the Loose Setting Powder over the Intense Powder Camo. Instead you can use Set + Refresh which is a lightweight spray that locks in makeup and enhances skin's overall complexion throughout the day.

Is this good for setting concealer under the eyes? Also, is the warm saffron a good color to choose for my dark skin tone?
