Comments about Neutrogena Light Therapy Acne Mask:

Bought this for my teenage daughter. She has moderate to severe acne, which makes her self confidence go down. We have tried a lot of products to get her acne under control, but she tends to give up too soon to let them really start working.

This mask has saved the day! Within 5 days we noticed a difference in her skin. She did breakout some after the 3rd day, but they didn't become inflamed like usual. After 2 weeks her skin is noticeably clearer.

Awesome product! Fun and easy to use.

      Thank you Nuetrogena!

Comments about Neutrogena Light Therapy Acne Mask:

So I've been struggling with moderate acne on my cheeks and chin since I was about 17. I went to the dermatologist who prescribed a topical antibiotic that didn't work. I read reviews prior to buying and saw that its meant for acne causes by bacteria. My acne may just be hormonal in which case would not be improved by this. I gave this 1 month and nothing. My skin purged for the first few weeks but did not remove my acne or prevent breakouts.

Comments about Neutrogena Light Therapy Acne Mask:

This mask was of no help to me. It might help certain types of acne, possibly mild acne, but it really was not effective for me. I did use this mask daily as advised. As my acne is of the mostly under skin kind, I thought this would be beneficial for me but that is not the case.

The comments were helpful to advise not to turn on the mask to test it before use because you will in fact lose one of your 30 uses if you do so thanks for that useful tip.

Comments about Neutrogena Light Therapy Acne Mask:

I used to use a Tanda for spot treatment of acne but the Neutrogena mask is so much better. I love how it treats my whole face in just 10 minutes. I have used it 5 times now and it cleared up 6 flareups on my face and so far no new ones have appeared. Though I prefer to use it with my eyes closed as the lights are bright, I have watched TV in it a couple of times. Wish I had bought this sooner!

Comments about Neutrogena Light Therapy Acne Mask:

I have been using this product for about a week. It is extremely easy to use, however my skin went through an initial purging stage that is starting to clear up. It was probably worse than purging with my prescription retinoid when I was first on it. I can see it working to clear up that initial break-out. It seems to make other products more effective when used in conjunction with the mask. Make sure you are using a good moisturizer afterwards because light therapy does tend to be a little bit drying to the skin. Otherwise, no sensitivities and it seems to be clearing up some PIH from older breakouts. If you're concerned about having to repurchase the battery packs, there is a hack to bypass the timer. You'll need a few supplies in addition to a soldering gun to make it work.
