My sister recommended this highlighter to add a pop to my everyday makeup routine. Very light and subtle and that's what I like; however, could be applied heavier if u prefer a more drastic look. Overall, my new favorite!!

This is my favorite highlighter. So fine milled it feels like a cream, blends flawlessly, looks natural enough that you can wear it to the office, but can build it up to high shine if desired. I got Moonlight and want all the colors.

Comments about Lorac Light Source Illuminating Highlighter:

I'm on the search for a highlighter that can give me that pop of shine but this didn't give me that. It kind of blended into my skin. I bought it in daylight. I ended up returning it. This would probably be good for someone who wants a not noticeable highlight like maybe a natural highlight.

The LORAC Light Source Illuminating Highlighters have a soft focus finish and a bit of a higher shine level than the highlighter within the PRO Contour Palette. We hope this helps!

                        Hi Megan,

Every Light Source Highlighter looks beautiful across all skin tones and each shade can be used to achieve a different look. Twilight and Daylight are warmer toned shades while Starlight and Moonlight are cool toned shades. We would recommend Starlight for you, its a great everyday highlighter for your complexion. We hope this helps!

                        Hi Michelle,

The LORAC Light Source Illuminating Highlighters are a powder based formula. However the texture of our powder based formulas are soft and creamy in texture. If you are are looking for a cream based highlighter formula you may want to check out our new PRO Conceal and Contour Palette, which contains 4 shades of cream highlighters. We hope this helps!

I have a "peaches and cream" complexion, meaning pretty fair skin with pink undertones. Is there a specific shade that would work better than others for someone like me? I would like a subtle look, something that will work well for all seasons.

                        A:

LORAC does not currently offer a Light Source Illuminating Highlighter shade that matches the highlighter from TANtalizer Highlighter & Matte Bronzer Duo, but we recommend trying Moonlight. Moonlight has a subtle pink undertone similar to the highlighter in TANtalizer Highlighter & Matte Bronzer Duo.

                        A:

Light Source Illuminating Highlighter is not a replacement of Perfectly Lit, but does offer a similar effect. The two powders work similarly, but Light Source offers a slightly higher shine. If you loved Perfectly Lit Oil-Free Luminizing Powder in Luminous, we recommend to trying Light Source Illuminating Highlighter in Starlight as it is the closest in shade. For an even closer match, we recommend mixing Starlight with Moonlight.
