City grit takes an artful turn with this downtown-inspired palette. Gravel greys give way to sand-inspired shimmer, making the work-to-play transition as effortlessly stunning as the skyline at sunset. This smart palette includes two cheek shades and four eye shadow shades to create your urban mod look.

A $72 value!

Comments about Lorac LA Palette Downtown LA:

I love this palette! I have the Lorac Mega Pro 2 palette and truthfully purchased this palette because of one color. I love burlap in the mega palette and was hoping city of angels was similar. It is similar but burlap is a bit deeper. That is OK though. I love the subtle shimmer of art walk and it doesn't seem to show the texture of my skin like most highlighters do. I will always be a Lorac fan!

Comments about Lorac LA Palette Downtown LA:

You got one...or all... of the Sunset palettes. You are thinking, maybe not quite enough mattes to do your crease and deepening, or possibly powder over your chosen liner. So, you decide to pull out those standbys, UD basics: 1, 2, or Ultimate. But these are Lorac, in a formula that blends better with Sunsets than UD does. Also, the colors seem more complementary, as they were designed together. All the shadows are mattes, and they fit the bill perfectly. The blush is pigmented, as expected. The highlighter is the only shimmer here. This is highly usable for eyes as a stand alone, too. If you need a hit of shimmer, pat or dust on the highlighter. Works. Although it does not feature the same shades, it reminds me of UD Pulp Fiction, though cooler. It works in the same way that PF did. This is far more amped and features today's browned maroon for the 'darker brown' toned shade. The palette is sturdy and compact enough to travel well. This should be a hit as a stand alone, or a complementary small palette. Excellent job, Lorac.
