Comments about Hot Tools Hot Air Styler:

I have problems with my back, neck, and shoulders. I like to dry my hair after washing it because it saves me time to get where I need to be (especially in the winter!) and because it doesn't get the crazy combination of floof and flat that happens when I let my hair air-dry. I had only seen hot air stylers with round brushes, and this one definitely got my attention. When I am having a sore day, it is such a blessing to be able to brush and dry my hair with only one tool. I was a little skeptical at first--my hair takes a ridiculously long time to dry--but this product definitely won me over. With the vent brush, I was able to shower and dry my hair in less than 30 minutes. (About 10-12 minutes for the shower). Normally, my hair takes about 40 minutes or more just to dry if I'm lucky. My hair is thick, just above shoulder length, and it has its wonderful combination of straight and wavy and curly. The other attachments just make this tool that much more wonderful. I am SO glad that this product exists!

I have both fibromyalgia and Rheumatoid Arthritis so a lightweight tool is a must have for me. This drying/styling tool hits the mark for me. It's light, easily manuvered around the head, and works to keep the frizz down.

Comments about Hot Tools Hot Air Styler:

Received as birthday gift, but only lasted about 10 months using only couple times of week. After seeing the price of this product, I was shocked! Way too much for the quality! I would not purchase another and would not recommend to anyone as it just doesn't seem to work for very long. Think they need to take this one back to the drawing board! Hate my dear sister-in-law paid so much for it and now it doesn't even work. I don't have the heart to tell her...

It seemed that the product had been used before and they had put it back in the box. All the wraps were opened. The bristles on the brush were worn out.

It is noisy, not enough heat and useless!! so returning it back to the shop.

Comments about Hot Tools Hot Air Styler:

I was a little skeptical that I would like this product. I have short, fine hair that tends to go flat in humid weather no matter which mousses, root lifts or other products I used. Although this product did not eliminate the need for me to style my hair afterward with a curling iron, my hair had much more lift and my hairstyle tended to last longer after drying with it. At the end of the day, I was much more satisfied with how my hair has lasted through the day. I have always blow dried my hair using a round brush, but using the combination blowdryer/round brush tool along with mousse and root lift products was definitely more effective.

It can be used as a blow dryer if necessary, but it won't have the same drying time performance. It's intent is to be used on damp hair in order to help style it.

I just purchased this product yesterday and I am not sure it will do what I want. Does it give you a curl? The other thing I noticed was when I was trying it it seem to blow the hair instead of curling it. Do I have the right one if not can you suggest a better one. I have thick curly hair but I blow dry out to be straight and I would like to have a bounce and a slight curl to the hair.
