I have used Philosophy's supernatural foundation (with the sponge) for years. They stopped making it and I ran out of my stash and started freaking out. I'm a natural strawberry blonde and have a hard time
With colors of makeup working in my skin. I use Philosophy's skincare as well..so I decided to give this a try. It works wonderfully for me..perfect color for me and no line of demarcation. I've used powered for so long the liquid was not what I wanted but thankful for this product. Hoping they don't discontinue this foundation because I love it

Comments about Philosophy Hope In A Jar Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 20:

When I was looking for a good foundation, I tried several prestige brands. I fell in love with this one. I can use it alone or with a silicone based primer. Don't use it with a water based primer. Also, when applying it, spread it quickly over an area, then start patting with the sponge/applicator. This is a silicone based foundation so overworking it or taking too long to spread it, will cause it to pill, or roll up in little balls. Once you have the application technique learned, it's easy to do and I love it. It's just a tad pricey, so I wait for a good sale or a coupon and buy several at a time.

Comments about Philosophy Hope In A Jar Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 20:

I am 32 with super sensitive skin, redness, acne and large pores on my cheekbones. I have been searching high and low for a foundation that works. Anything from Too Faced to Marc Jacobs foundations. I like a natural looking makeup look with medium to full coverage. A foundation that blends into my skin and looks like my skin but without all the redness and blemishes. This foundation does it! It goes on medium to full coverage (depending on number of pumps used). It wears flawless for at least 6-8 hours. I don't have to ever retouch with powder or blot my face (which is a regular thing for me w/ foundations). This is my holy grail of foundations now! (Disclaimer: don't use this without the It's a Miracle line blurring stick bc that's just as amazing.) this foundation also helps my pores too. It slightly diminishes my pores BUT the best part, over the day my pores never get enlarged with this foundation, which always happens. I can't talk about how much I love this product.

I was looking for something that had good coverage, but wasn't super expensive either. I had acne when I was younger, so even though it's no longer an issue, standing in front of the mirror putting on layers of make up isn't for me either. I'm impressed that one pump of this foundation is enough for coverage for my whole face, blends well, and feels nice on my skin. Super easy too.
