Fairly Easy

Comments about Beachwaver Co. The Half Up:

Does the trick and gets your hair in a bun fairly easy. I have layered hair so I have to mess around a bit with my hair. But overall, I like this product and does what I need.

Great Product for FINE hair

By Katie

from Tallahassee, FL

Comments about Beachwaver Co. The Half Up:

I have tried a few different bun products and this by far is the best for my hair. I have fine hair and this did the best holding and making look full. It would not work week for anyone who has anything other than fine hair, unless you are just doing the half up bun. I did find that they price listed was not the price on the box, but was able to get that straightened out.
I have used it a few times and I am not having any problems with it maintaining its shape. I will say it is a little tough to put your hair through.

Comments about Beachwaver Co. The Half Up:

Unfortunately, I have a ton of "hair thingees" that I've purchased which didn't work for me. Too bad all are packaged where a try-on is not possible...

Comments about Beachwaver Co. The Half Up:

Not even worth it. It doesnt go back to original shape. Its a wire frame on the inside. After one use its done. And if you mess up you cant try again as it just gets worse.

If you don't have a lot of hair this will not work for you. You could still see it because I don't have enough hair. :(

Comments about Beachwaver Co. The Half Up:

I came across this while shopping at my local Ulta in Pittsfield, MA (LOVE THEM). I purchased it because my hair is very fine and it doesn't look good up in any type of bun. Once I got it home, I tried it and and bam! in less than a minute my hair was up in a pretty bun! I mean seriously I want to keep a few of them hanging around in case I loose one or the foam comes off. It was inexpensive too! I think if you have super thick hair you'd need the larger one...but this works great for me. I think I've worn it every day since I purchased it...even slept with it in my hair!

      Cons

        Best Uses

        • quick bun
        • quick french twist

Comments about Beachwaver Co. The Half Up:

Does anyone remember the Hairdini?!? This is similar! I have very straight silky hair. For a french twist hold the Half Up vertical to the back of your head, gather your hair to a pony tail and run your hand as far out to the ends as you can without the hair coming loose. (do not use the slit in the middle) Just start wrapping the ends of your hair close to the bottom end of the Half Up then start rolling when it is snug to your head bend the top tip (kind of like a candy cane) and pull hair to cover the small curve so the Hair Up is not showing. I don't usually need anything else to keep it snug but you could use bobby pins.
