Comments about L'Oréal Hair Expertise EverPure Cleansing Balm:

I bought this hoping it would cut down on time spent between shampooing and conditioning. It saves time, but leaves a waxy buildup in your hair. By the third day I could hardly run a brush through my hair after it was blown dry. And my hair looked greasy and had no volume. It took three shampoos to wash this product out. Terrible product.

Comments about L'Oréal Hair Expertise EverPure Cleansing Balm:

I have colored hair so I try to wash my hair as little as possible. Typically I wait atleast a day between washes. My hair was slightly greasy after the first use which I expected because my hair has been stripped by using harsh shampoos. I wouldn't start using it right away if you are planning on going to an event. It takes some time for your hair to regain those natural oils and become balanced again. I would recommend using a another shampoo to cleanse the scalp after 3-4 washes to prevent hair loss due to build up. It's a great product and I am very happy with my results. Not to mention it's sulfate and dye free which is a huge plus!

Best Ever! Just give it a week

Comments about L'Oréal Hair Expertise EverPure Cleansing Balm:

Switching from a shampoo to just a cleaning balm was odd for me. But considering I was stripping my hair of their natural healthy oils with my other shampoo and conditioner I figured it might take a little for my hair to adjust. The first week I was a little greasy (adjustment period) as expected. After the first week my hair was amazing, light, not greasy, manageable, and stayed vibrant! I recently dyed my hair very vibrant colors (red, purple, teal, and navy). Every color shampoo/conditioner I tried stripped my hair and washed out my color. This has been my saving grace!! Should I mention I can wash daily with this (I love my showers), it's been 3 weeks and my color is as bright as day 1!! I'm also not much into mint but they made it work.

Saved my crazy vibrant colors! Week 3 of daily washing and it's as bright as day 1! Give it a week or so for your hair to get used to no longer being stripped. And rinse WELL.

I've gone through so many expensive "color safe" products, this is the best one, and cheap!

I honestly didn't even read the words on the product. I just knew it looked the same as my usual Everpure shampoo and thought "how convenient! It now comes in a pump!" Big mistake! The shampoo is so thick that it can't even get to your scalp to clean it. Zero lather. My hair looks and feels greasy. And it just gets worse throughout the day. And I bought two bottles to boot. What a waste!

Comments about L'Oréal Hair Expertise EverPure Cleansing Balm:

Recently I've discovered the wonderful world of cleansing crimes and cleansing conditioners. I like using the ones redken makes but I figured I'd try a few drug store options to suggest to my more frugal clients and family members.

I've seen a lot of people saying this left their hair greasy and not clean. I've seen a review stating that she had a rash and dandruff after the use for several weeks. So here I am to educate.

You are all using this product incorrectly. Most people are used to the harsh detergents and detergents in their regular shampoos. These detergents strip the hair with ease and require little to no work after application. These cleansing conditioners have little to no larger and require A LOT of massaging and scrubbing to remove oils and product for your hair. Work the product in and get in there and I guarentee you will have better results and personally I think we should all be using these the majority of washes. Generally I condition after with all soft by redken but I've gone without conditioning after before. Secondly, RINSE IT OUT; and make sure all of it is rinsed out. Rinse it thoroughly. What happens to all hair when conditioners aren't rinsed properly? Dandruff. Always thought this was common knowledge. Lastly this product is great for daily use, HOWEVER it is meant to clean your hair and the strand of your hair. It will clean the roots but you should be using your regular shampoo once every 4 uses. This will not clean your scalp and sebum could harden at the follicle and cause hair loss or scalp irritation.

personally I don't wash my hair daily or often because of my hair type and it's coarseness, but I realllyyyyy get in there on the scalp and clean it by mechanically scrubbing and try to minimize the time between traditional shampoos. I use a traditional shampoo once every 8 washes or so.

I have been using this product for about a week. Leave my hair feeling gross! I do love the regular EverPure color treated for fine hair better, I will stay with it.

Comments about L'Oréal Hair Expertise EverPure Cleansing Balm:

I bought this product as I have used other L'Oreal EverPure products and loved them, however this one is very disappointing. I wash my hair and it feels so heavy almost as though there is still shampoo/conditioner in it. I washed and rinsed repeating there is no change. I wasted money on this product. I will now have to go out and buy the EverPure shampoo and conditioner separately.

I was ready to like this, it seemed efficient and was suitable for colour treated hair, and I normally love Loreal products. However, my normally lush, thick, shiny hair looked dull, felt heavier, clumpy and oily. If I'm going for a certain slick look I'll use it, and I also like the smell, hence the extra star. But it's not for daily use - it doesn't soften or give a clean looking shine. When I shampoo afterwards with another product, I feel like I'm rinsing this gunk out. I'll stick to Loreals Absolut Repair Lipidium and Vitamino Colorado lines.
