Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

This did what i need it to do. I dyed my hair black by accident when i wanted to go back to my natural medium brown. So i used this and it stripped my hair. Its more of a reddish brown not black. So i have to redye my hair again. The biggest problem. The smell! The sml was soooo bad. And its lasted in my hair. It hasn't gone away in a week and it smells worse when its wet. I thought i could handle the smell sonce i was warned. But this is something else. So be prepared

Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

Didn't work for me, because I had a direct dye (no developer needed), but my sister used it on her oxidative dye and she said it worked to get most of the green out of her hair (hence the 3 stars).

Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

So i dyed my hair with a semi permanent hair color around July and it the color (red) never really came out. I then took to this and tried it. I was very disappointed with this product because not only did it not work but left my hair smelling like eggs. I hate that I wasted my money on a product like this!

Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

I have been dying my hair (boxed color) dark brown/black for the past several years. I recently decided I wanted a change and wanted to go lighter but just as I figured nothing would cover or lighten the dark color treated hair. I looked up reviews for this and to be honest I was skeptical, I was terrified my hair would fall off or end up feeling like straw.

None of that happened. I followed the directions to a T and left on the full 20 minutes and then rinsed and shampooed like it said. I was left with a beautiful medium Chestnut brown color. A little more red then my natural color but I was so happy with it that I decided not to dye back over it but leave it instead. My hair is not dry or brittle, it looks shiny and healthy. I highly recommend this product. It worked wonders for me and I will definitely use it again.

I bought this because my hair was greenish after being blue for several months. I put it on despite gagging from the smell and rinsed in the shower for ONE HOUR and nothing happened. I now have very very damaged straw feeling hair. I can't really even brush it.

Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

This worked better than I thought it would. I've been dying my hair dark since 2012. Last year a stylist accidentally dyed my hair black. It got most of the color out. I definitely recommend. It beats paying a stylist to strip your hair and it isn't harsh at all.

Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

I feel like this needs to be put out there. This is the second time I've used color oops. First time was two years ago and it worked great. However, this time went absolutely horrible. After rinsing for almost an hour, I dried my self off and went to towel dry my hair.... a huge clump of hair came out. This has never happened to me before. Panicked, I went to google this. Not a lot of people has had this happen to them but if if has, it could of been the reaction to the dyes prior used. I used esalon and natural instincts. Both left my hair an unwanted red so I was using color oops to fix it. Now my hair is a gross, uneven ginger color and my hair is incredibly thinner now. I should note that I dyed my hair a week before using this and also did the strand test with good results. Please use with caution!!

I wasted my time and money on this product.... I was sad because I went into Ulta to fix an issue and I created a bigger one by using this product. This stuff is a maggot gagger, the smell is so putrid that my very loving husband kept me away from him so he didn't have to smell me. I SMELL LIKE ROTTEN EGGS EVERY TIME I SHOWER OR SWEAT!!!!! I was going from pretty dark brown hair and attempting to bring it lighter which is closer to my natural hair color. It made my hair turn red :( Bad experience, I have learned a lot from this.
