Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

I used the other one before and this is more gentle, I do this every other year to get rid of all the color build up, I do permanent once a year and then the 28 shampoo's washout , I had reddish color the last couple years and it's hard to get rid without this stuff! So it's great for change also and all leftover colors if you want to start fresh, but like I said gentle or not it is damaging to your hair, so I do not use it often!!

Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

For the last year I've been dying my hair hot pink using SPLAT while trying to save money and I finally decided to go back to a natural blonde look...my hair stylist recommended Oops Color Removal because after 3 months of washing my hair in hot water almost every other day, there was still redish pinkish tints throughout my hair....Unfortunately this product did nothing to remove this annoying remaining color after following box instructions which was really disappointing since it sounded so promising....

The product doesn't work. I used 4 boxes and nothing. The only thing it did do was dry my hair out and leave my hair smelling like rotten eggs and chemicals for three weeks.

Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

I dyed my hair dark burgundy twice over my natural roots and ombré blonde ends. The red kept fading so fast and I hated it so I bought 2 boxes of this and left it on for 40 min (double the time that the box suggested as I watched many YouTube videos that did the same for red hair) and it took every single shade of red out it was amazing!!!!!!!!!! If you know anything about hair, red is the one of the hardest colours to remove and I just cannot believe that it all came out. My ends wen the same as before (blonde) and my natural hair did go a bit brassy but I do plan on just putting a nice light brown all over to cut the brass. I kept a coconut oil mask on all night after using this product to help with moisture that it strips. So amazed.

Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

Asked sales associate if it would remove red rinse as I had read a review that said it didn't work well on red. She assured me it would take red rinse out, even went so far as to say she had used it herself. Followed the directions to the T. Sure it will show on my next water bill with the 20 minute rinse followed by 3 shampoos with 5 minute rinses. Now back to first sentence this was not a permanent color my beautician put on but temporary color Did it remove it? NO!! Lightened slightly but I still have red hair. And have washed my hair every day for last 5 days & still can smell chemicals every time I wash.
Would I buy again or recommend? No, No, No

Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

I'm dyed permanent black over permanent red. Naturally medium brown. I used two boxes of the extra strength remover. Yes, it smells awful, that much is definitely true. I also hated how my hair felt after, and while wet. It felt very stripped, so I did a coconut oil mask which definitely helped. The product worked okay, it actually lifted the black pretty well, but couldn't get past the red in my length, just my roots. I rinsed and rinsed and rinsed, and don't think there was any difference between the first and second treatments. Overall, I think this would work well on someone who was removing a single, or lighter color. It's not going to remove years of color, or at least it didn't on my case. Dunno if I'd use it again, I don't think it was worth the smell, mess, or hour in the shower rinsing my hair. Also, most of the complaints here are from people who clearly didn't read the instructions and either didn't rinse thoroughly, or expected it to strip "novelty" colors, which it clearly says it can't.
