Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

See my picture, Yes it smells bad but the fact that this product even exist is awesome! My hair was platinum blonde during a moment of anxiety I went and threw on a brown, everyone wanted to kill me because they all liced the blonde. I found this product on line and that same day was back to exactly the same platinum blonde color. I am amazed. I'll have stinky hair for a bit but totally worth it. I had to shampoo/ rinse and repeat about 5 times.

Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

My hair is naturally jet black but I had dyed my hair brown previously with garnier nutrisse box dye. When my hair had started to grow, the black roots had grown all the way up to my jaw and there was a striking difference between the chestnut color i had dyed it and my natural hair. I decided then to dye my whole hair a soft black but to my dismay it looked a bit tacky so i decided to remove the hair color altogether. My expectation was that my hair turns back to its natural state with oops, meaning it would be a jet black up to my jawline if not all the way through the entire length of my hair. My hair is orange now. My roots that were once naturally black, theyre a ginger color now. I followed the instructions thoroughly, but even so, what could I have possibly done wrong to make my hair orange? The smell is awful too, and I'm starting to doubt the claim that there is no ammonia or bleach in this color remover, because definately there must be something to make my natural hair a completely different color that what it should be. How many indian women do you know that are natural gingers? Not many if at all...

I am a natural redhead. I decided to cover up the gray before a job interview. Grabbed the wrong color! My hair was chestnut brown and looked awful!! After trying some other random tips from the internet I found Color Oops, ran to the store praying it would work. Yes it is a lot of rinsing but it took everything out completely. Not excited about not having color in my hair for a week or so but it's much better natural than not!. This is a wonderful product!

I read the box when I got home after I asked the worker about it and he said it would but when I got home the box states
"Color Oops will not perform on direct color dyes like bright pinks, blues, greens, lavenders and purples"
I was able to return the item and get my money back but I wish the workers helped out more when asking them question about store products.

Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

This product product did remove most of color from my hair however it has a stinky fragrance. The only problem I had was that my hair is very thick and long but I only picked up one box and it barely covered all of my hair. Also don't expect it to remove all of the color, it lighten my hair about two shades.

Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

I'm the worst when it comes to doing hair on myself, & when I wanted to go back to my blonde hair I was honestly lost. I didn't want to bleach my hair because I've never done it before & feared of it turning orange.

I read many reviews about color oops & finally decided "what the heck, I'll try it..." I definitely DONT regret it, one thing I will say though is it smells really really bad!!

My hair is back to its original "strawberry blonde" color & I can't be happier with the results!!! I'd definitely use this product again.

I did have to use two bottles (about 1 & 1/2 bottles exactly) because my hair is long, & pretty thick. It's also really runny - I figured better to have more than enough than not enough... Just something to consider!!

Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

Ok, so I had a super bad hair problem. NO I didn't dye my hair black like everyone else who seems to use this. I am a natural dark blonde and decided to give brown a try. I loved it, so then after that color faded I re-dyed. For some reason that dye came out red! It was the exact same color that I used before so I have no idea what happened. Then - panic - so like an idiot I decided it was a good decision to then bleach on top of the red. I became mrs. frizzle. I lived with it for like 2 weeks to rest my hair then dyed over the mess with an ash color to offset the red. It kind of worked.
I was tired of looking freaky so gave this a go! Smell is god awful and It is scary because everyone kept saying it turns your hair orange. Mine came out perfect! I actually have my natural blond back with some highlights (probably from when I bleached). I did rinse SO SO long. I shampooed like no joke 10 times and after I made my own hair mask with egg white, mayo, honey and coconut oil. And I conditioned. My hair was actually greasy and soft (probably from my hair mask).
the worst part was rinsing. I was in the shower for 40 minutes (until my water was cold). I made the best of it though, enjoyed some wine (I mean wine got me in this mess so wine can get me out?! HAHA) and listened to music but OMG Hopefully I never get myself in this position again! I hope this helps someone!
