Comments about Le Couvent Des Minimes Gardener's Hand Healer:

I got a sample of this in a little sample bag from Ulta. I thought the name was adorable, and the smell - it smells like a garden full of herbs - was fantastic. It felt luxurious! When Ulta had a sale for buy-two-get-one-free, I decided to get the hand and foot cream for myself, and the hand cream for my mother. I had never bought a cream this expensive before, but the name of the product, the scent, and the thick creaminess of it had me sold. However, after using it for months now, I have realized it isn't all that great. It is a nice moisturizer - don't get me wrong! It is very thick and creamy. (I'd only recommend this for very dry skin.) However, as far as healing and moisturizing goes, I feel like this is honestly pretty ordinary. It's nice, but it isn't anything special that will make me want to spend this amount of money on it. I have tried other body butters (from Aveeno, the Yes To line, and other drugstore brands) that moisturize just as well as - or even better than - this product. The quality is not outstanding for me to be able to justify the price. However, if you want to splurge for the scent and the name and the fact that it is a French export...basically, if you want to feel fancy and pampered...by all means, enjoy this product! :) It is one of those things that is not necessarily better than cheaper alternatives, just a fun luxurious-feeling item if you feel like splurging. :)

Comments about Le Couvent Des Minimes Gardener's Hand Healer:

This is the most long-lasting, moisturizing hand cream I've ever used. I put on the tiniest amount in the morning (maybe half a pea) and after a whole day, including washing hands, washing dishes, you name it, my hands are still soft and moisturized. It's really amazing stuff. I've tried some of their other hand creams and the odor is way too strong on the others. This one also has a strong odor that doesn't dissipate much with time, but it's not as perfumy and strong as the others. I'd recommend trying a sample first to make sure you like the scent.

I spend a lot time in the garden and outdoors in general. I liked how a sample of this worked--making my hands look and feel better. The fragrance is a bit medicinal...but tolerable. I bought this on sale...not sure I would pay full price...It will depend on the results aftervI use it regularly.

I buy this for my grandma who owns a business where her hands are sore and crack open a lot. I received this in a sample box and have bought her full size tunes ever since! She says that nothing has made her hands feel better. It definitely stands up to its "hand healer" name.

Only lotion that I have ever used that checks all the boxes. Goes on smooth, smells great, doesn't leave your hands sticky/gummy feeling. Healed my rough cracked hands in no time. Heel healer is just as fantastic! Highly recommend!
