Amazing

Comments about Chi G2 Ceramic & Titanium 1.25" Hairstyling Iron:

For years I used the basic ($90) chi which I think is great if you have semi straight or wavy hair. I purchased this one hoping it would be better for my hair considering I straighten it every other day and my hair is naturally very thick and curly. I love this straightener because I can use it at a lower temperature (the other one didn't have temp settings) and achieve the same look while keeping the volume. It doesn't snag and pull on my hair and definitely doesn't fry my hair. It heats up so quickly and mine came with a thermal pad to protect your counters or whatever pure setting it on. Seriously worth every penny if you straighten your hair often.

Comments about Chi G2 Ceramic & Titanium 1.25" Hairstyling Iron:

I have fine straight hair and had been using a iron from the big box stores. It had no heat settings and was constantly snagging my hair. I was on the fence about spending so much but I now wish I would have done it a long time ago.
It glides through my hair and has specific settings for my type hair. I no longer have all the breakage from using to much heat on my hair and from pulling it out.
Heats up in less than a minute and handles great.
This iron is everything it says it is,(at least for me). My fine hair has never looked better.

Comments about Chi G2 Ceramic & Titanium 1.25" Hairstyling Iron:

I transitioned from the Jibere nano flat iron to the Hot Tools extended flat iron to this--The Chi G2 Ceramic and Titanium flat iron, and it's gotta be the best flat iron I've owned so far. I feel like the Hot Tools flat iron basically fried my hair so I exchanged it for this Chi iron. This one doesn't snag my hair and doesn't fry it because it provides the information on which heat setting is best for each type of hair, from fine to thick to frizzy. My hair is naturally straight and fine so I use 350. It doesn't overflatten my hair at all, and surprisingly keeps the body. I like that it also smooths out any of the frizzies. Unlike the previous flat irons I used to own, this one actually keeps my hair looking and feeling healthy after using it.

It was a bit pricey but it's worth every cent.

I was on the hunt for a straightener that work well for my very long, very thick locks. Saw this one was geared towards "coarse and resistance hair types" and figured I'd give it a go. I am very pleased with the results. Heats up fast and the wider plates straighten my hair much faster than usual. I especially love the high heat setting.

It features larger width plates (1.25"), so you'll see looser curls/waves. The larger plates of this model are especially ideal for thicker hair and longer lengths.
