Foam rollers are great! :)

Comments about Hot Tools Foam Rollers-Pink:

I have used foam rollers for 3 years now. I have come to realize (after many attempts) to get the beautiful bouncy lasting curls.. you will need to use a higher quality gel to set the curls. I use Big Sexy Volumizing Gel works great for me (no flaking and great shine). I have long fine hair. I coat each section of hair from root to tip with the gel before I roll that section around the foam roller (when I need more volume like on the very top of my head, I will spray the root of my hair with Big Sexy hair spray right before I roll it and after I have already applied the gel to that section-works great!). When I unroll the next morning they are beautiful long bouncy shiny curls that will last me for a week. I pin up my curls each night on top of my head to keep from disturbing the curls if I toss and turn at night. Hope this helps!

      Easy to sleep in

Comments about Hot Tools Foam Rollers-Pink:

I bought two of this item as a trial. I have the new messy curl bob. I wanted to save time in the morning by using the curls on wet hair over night. They were easy to place in my hair and were very comfortable to sleep in but alas they did not give me the curls that I had hoped for. All in all the curlers were a good product but not for a time saver to getting the curls I needed.

Can I roll my hair in these and then use a blow dryer with them in? Or will it warp/melt the foam?

Yes, you can, but we would not recommend using the hottest/highest heat.

                  A:

Here are some easy steps to follow:

Step 1 - Start out with clean towel dry hair. Comb through and let it dry up to 50%.
This will help your hair be manageable, and still hold its curl.

Step 2 - Prep you bangs with styling lotion or mousse. Position a roller under the bangs, about two inches from the tips. This should give you enough hair to roll around once and catch in the roller. Continue wrapping tightly all the way to the scalp. Snap the plastic clasp.

Step 3 - Divide the rest of your hair into sections: top, sides and back. Keep them separated with alligator clips.

Step 4 - Roll the top section. Try to make even rows, using large foam rollers. Section the hair roughly the width of the roller; the amount depends on how many curls you want. Prep your hair with styling lotion or mousse. Make sure you coat the entire length of hair for each roller.

Step 5 - Roll the hair on your sides, and then the back of your head. You can switch to medium or small rollers as you get closer to your neck. You can also use a bobby pin to hold the hair tightly on the roller.

Step 6 - Sleep with them overnight to ensure the curls set.

Step 7 - Unsnap each roller and carefully remove it. If you want a tousled look, lightly run your fingers through your hair, to loosen the curls.

Step 8 - Use hair spray to set your curls, and voila!

                  We hope this helps! :-)
