Ineffective Exfoliation

By Ashley

Pros

  • Gentle

Cons

  • Ineffective

Best Uses

Comments about First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Polish:

Although I love the FAB facial cleanser, I ended up returning this product because I did not find it to be an effective exfoliator. It was creamy and gentle on the skin, but did not serve its purpose of buffing away dead skin. The exfoliating granules were softer and minimal in each use.

    it works, but the SMELL

    By wurdnurd

    from Charlotte, NC

Comments about First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Polish:

I was looking for a less expensive exfoliant to Dr B, which worked like a dream but is waaaay out of my price range, and saw the FAB display a few feet away. I like FAB, especially the foaming facial cleanser, so why not, right, especially at almost 1/3 the price...well, it's gentle enough to use daily, which means to say it's not a microexfoliant, and it does smooth the skin more effectively than the Apricot nonsense. But be warned THE SMELL IS AWFUL. like burning plastic and hot trash. thankfully, the SMELL dissipates quickly. At tye end of the day, I doubt I'll try this particular product again.

Comments about First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Polish:

I got a travel size of this for free, and I like it so much I want to buy the full size when I run out. I have sensitive, redness prone, combination skin. I've been using this every night for a week or so, and I have no negative results to report. It's more gentle than the charcoal-enhanced daily microfoliant I was using before. It's a cream base, and has a smell that you wouldn't expect a facial wash to have. It reminds me of something pleasant from my childhood so I don't mind.

A pea or peanut sized amount seems to be plenty to wash my face with. I like the way my face looks and feels after a 30-second wash. Soft and clean, and not red or dry like other exfoliators can cause

      Great Exfoliator

      By jpmoral

      from Phoenix

Comments about First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Polish:

The Exfoliator works great and has really improved my skin. Word of advise you want to actually use either an Exfoliator sponge for the face/ or another cleansing device. The first few times I used it, it felt like I was using soap, but it just needed that texturing tool to help it along. I've used several Exfoliators and this is the best one I've tried, I am currently on my 2nd bottle.

Comments about First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Polish:

I love FAB products. I have very sensitive skin in that I have some sort of allergic reaction of silica acid, which is found in almost all facial products. I also can become very dried out and flaky over the colder seasons. FAB does a good job at keeping my conditions at bay.

As far as this particular product goes, I have used it daily for a week. It gets its job done, my skin looks much more vibrant and healthy after cleansing it. The smell is not that desirable. To elaborate, it smells like a smoky jalapeño pepper. Its not a strong smell that sticks to your skin. So, all in all, I tolerate it because the benefit, I feel, outweighs the negative. The smell is the only reason why its 4 stars and not 5.

Comments about First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Polish:

Love FAB. I already use their face cleanser and moisturizer. It has been the only thing to completely clear up my acne prone skin. I decided I needed to exfoliate in my nightly routine as well. This product is awesome. I was worried about using an exfoliator daily (I thought it might be pretty abrasive) but this product is a very gentle exfoliator. It does just enough to not irritate or strip my skin, while still leaving my face smoothed and radiant. Totally recommend it.

I found a better product (not sure if I can mention) that is prestige, has dissolving jojoba beads and pineapple enzymes next bay over at M local ulta. cheaper too!!!!

The Facial Radiance Polish is a gentle exfoliating cleanser which helps purify and brighten your skin. It can be used daily. If you wear makeup we recommend that you use FAB Face Cleanser to cleanse and remove makeup and then follow with the Facial Radiance Polish.
