I love this product. I don't like foundations because they are too heavy and make me feel like I have a mask on. This product is great. It gives me color to cover some of my flaws but is light on my face.

This is my new fave face product! with that being said, i didn't always feel this way about this product. It's not like tinted moisturizers I've used in the past because it's very thick! It's best to apply wit ha damp beauty blender.
I liked the color selection and it did a good job at keeping oil at bay. It worked better in conjunction with the brand's setting powder.
        Great job Honest!

I love this tinted moisturizer! I'm almost at the end of my first tube, and it has been great on my skin. I have oily-normal skin and I rarely ever have breakouts anymore after I started using this which is a wonderful change! It's light coverage, doesn't really hide blemishes, helps with some redness though. My only complaint is that it has a dewy finish, more after a few hours of wear. If you're pairing it with powder it's fine, but I'm looking for the tinted moisturizer to stand alone.

Comments about Honest Beauty Everything Tinted Moisturizer Oil Free SPF 20:

I see a lot of mixed reviews of the product so I wanted to throw in my opinion and experience. First off, this is my new favorite. I love it. But it wasn't at all what I expected. I thought I'd be getting a lightweight, sheer coverage moisturizer-more-than-foundation type of product, but this is not it. I think because it has the physical sunscreen, instead of the chemical one that is in most products, that changes it's consistency but it can be jarring if you aren't expecting it. I personally have a sensitivity to chemical sunscreen that takes most foundations and moisturizers off the table of me, so I was super stoked to see this product. I bought it on black friday and applied it as soon as I got it.

The product is thick. The consistency reminds me of Tarte's amazonian clay foundation or bb cream (most likely because it too has zinc and not octinoxate) and not a lotion or cream feeling. That being said, when I applied it it went on smooth and "stuck". This stuff literally does not move until you take it off. I wore it all day and it lasted great. I have normal/combo skin, so I am not particularly oily (which might make a difference) but I didn't need to blot or dab my face all day. My skin doesn't look cakey either, just like mine but smoother.

Unfortunately, it is impossible to apply with a brush. I tried, and it didn't work. My fingers worked best (and my body heat helps to blend it in smoother) but this might also work with a beauty blender-I didn't try. It really does sit well on the face if you apply it with your fingers and let it set (jury's out on the BB).

My only complaint is the color choices. Cream to Alabaster is a huge jump in color-and I had to buy the two to mix. I wish there was a "light" inbetween because alabaster is "fair" and cream is almost "medium" in my opinion. The undertones are true golden, though, which I find is hard to match. Overall I recommend, but keep an open mind about the consistency.

Purchased this on a whim for Black Friday just to try something new, sorry to say I am not a fan of this item. I was expecting a loose formula as it is marketed as a tinted moisturizer however it was way to thick. If I had to compare it to something I would say it compares to one of those thick concealers used to cover tattoos and such. I buffed the heck out of this both lightly and harshly, it left swirl marks on my cheeks and I ended up looking like that doll for "Saw" >.< and yes i used a primer and setting powder and setting spray (all high end if I must say). Simply did not work for me

Comments about Honest Beauty Everything Tinted Moisturizer Oil Free SPF 20:

I bought this on sale. I am always looking for affordable, natural products. I have combo skin that tends to get congested. This extremely enhanced congestion in my pores. It wore pretty well for as long as you would expect a tinted moisturizer to (about 6-8 hours) but by then end of the day my face felt so bumpy. It felt like the product was literally solidifying in my pores. It didn't make me too oily so not a terrible product if congestion is not a problem for you. I returned it because I knew I'd probably never reach for it again.

I recently purchased the lightest Alabaster Shade. I can't help but notice that it is incredibly thick. How should one go about blending this? I have very red skin, and I am afraid that me rubbing it in so hard will cause it to become even more red.

Thank you for reaching out. Try using a damp beauty sponge to apply our Everything Tinted Moisturizer. Instead of rubbing the product onto the skin, gently press and roll the product onto the skin, using just a little at a time. Also, try adding a bit of moisturizer to the product to sheer out the coverage.

                    Hi Mez,

While we love the pairing of all 3 of these products together, most important is making a regimen that fits your skin type. May we suggest, if you have dryer skin, use the Everything Primer (Item #: 2300287) with the Everything Tinted Moisturizer. If you have oily/ combination skin, only use the Everything Tinted Moisturizer with the Invisible Blurring Powder (Item #: 2309157) dusted over.

Everything Tinted Moisturizer is formulated for all skin types, and it's especially ideal for oily skin! :-)
