At Ulta someone offered me assistance and recommended this to me as being better than IT CC cream. She patted it on rather roughly but I thought that was just her method of application (heavy hand). She told me the brush I use is the same she used so I said "okay, i'll give it a try". Put the CC cream back and went home with HONEST. It is very thick, does not easily apply with a brush. I needed to use alot of product to feel like I received a full application.

Comments about Honest Beauty Everything Tinted Moisturizer Oil Free SPF 20:

I've been using this product daily for 9 months and I swear by it.

I use this product instead of a foundation, and it is a very good replacement for me. Because it's a tinted moisturizer, it won't offer high coverage -- I'd describe it as "medium," which is what I want, so that things like freckles are still visible and overall looks a bit more natural, which is my personal style. I believe this product brings out the best in my skin, always making an even finish and minimizing the appearance of pores and blemishes (especially if I combine it with a concealer).

The most important to me is the protection it gives from the sun, and the formula of the product, which is free from harmful chemicals. The quality of my skin has improved drastically since I started using this product, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who has problematic skin. I have extremely sensitive, acne-prone skin, and this product has helped me improve the tone and evenness of my skin. Before using this product, my skin was often red and blotchy. That is no longer the case.

Although I initially just applied this product with my fingers like a regular moisturizer, I found it works best when I a) apply it with a foundation brush, b) use a primer, c) layer a setting powder on top. It's become more important to me to use the product in this way because I've moved to a very hot climate where I'm sweating all the time. When I apply it in this way, it lasts much longer. However, the product still rubs off in areas where I sweat a lot, if something rubs it off (like a pair of sunglasses), but it usually stays on even if I dab myself with a towel.

Also, I see a lot of reviewers have complained about "heaviness" of the product -- to me, using the foundation brush has made it much lighter. I, personally, appreciate the "weight" of the product because it offers more coverage, which makes for a better look.

The coverage wasn't bad after applied but it was sooo hard to smear across my face. It felt like I was tugging my skin when I applied this. I got the oil free version since I'm an oily gal but I still got oily after4-6 hours of wear which happens to me no matter what brand. If it was smoother to apply I genuinely would've liked it but even with a good moisturizer it was still harder then I'd like to apply. Also I apply cc creams with my fingers if that helps.

Most foundation leaves my skin looking dry and cracked eventually. I am more of a budget buyer, but I also know the importance of taking care of my skin. I want quality things. I never leave reviews and was skeptical about purchasing this moisturizer, but I love it! it feels great. Yes it's thicker than a regular moisturizer, but that's the point. it acts as a foundation while providing needed moisture. The primer feels great as well! I love how it gives me a clean finish, somewhat matte, but still a beautiful glow and healthy skin!

Comments about Honest Beauty Everything Tinted Moisturizer Oil Free SPF 20:

I have mixed feelings about this product. On one side it is extremely difficult to apply. It's very very thick, and does not go on smoothly. On the other once applied it matches my skin tone perfectly. Since I struggle to find perfect matches all the time, that's a big deal for me. Skin feels dewy, but the weather in Chicago this week has been very hot. I'm afraid that once the temperature drops it won't moisturize enough, and then I'll have to use moisturizer before applying this Honest product. That would defeat the purpose of using a tinted moisturizer.

                Hi Mez,

While we love the pairing of all 3 of these products together, most important is making a regimen that fits your skin type. May we suggest, if you have dryer skin, use the Everything Primer (Item #: 2300287) with the Everything Tinted Moisturizer. If you have oily/ combination skin, only use the Everything Tinted Moisturizer with the Invisible Blurring Powder (Item #: 2309157) dusted over.
