Most Effective

By 4 year eczema sufferer

from Denver

Comments about Skinfix Eczema Balm:

I have eczema on my face and armpits. I've used a lot of different moisturizers and this has been the most effective – note that it has more colloidal oatmeal than almost all competitors. That said, the extra strength with 5% oatmeal destroyed my skin (maybe because it's ointment instead of thick cream).

Great product; will never purchase again due to the overseas transaction
fee you charged my credit card. You never advised me of this fee when purchasing. No where in your literature does it state that payment is made to a foreign bank. This is illegal!!!!!!

Comments about Skinfix Eczema Balm:

This is the best therapy I've found for protecting sensitive skin from irritation and rashes. I use it under my bust line to prevent perspiration- and moisture-induced breakouts. It protects sensitive areas really well. It is quite thick so you don't need to use a lot. Great on chapped, super-dry skin. Worth the price tag.

Bad customer service

By Mel

from Undisclosed

Comments about Skinfix Eczema Balm:

Prior to purchasing products, I reached out to their customer service asking for details about the return policy as I was a little hesitant purchasing products online. Someone got back to me immediately ensuring that I just had to keep the receipt and they would honour a return no problem. I purchased this product, along with the soothing wash and soothing lotion, on the website that same night. They arrived and after using them for a little while noticed that they weren't doing anything for my skin. I found this balm to be too greasy for use during the day. I work in an office, it made typing a little disgusting and it left stains on paper. And the soothing wash doesn't lather, which is something that I don't like since I'm use to other body washes (which might be a good thing for people with eczema, but I felt that it wasn't actually cleaning my skin). I replied to the same email that had responded to be prior but never received a response. I emailed them again recently and received no response again; totally 2 failed attempts. It's disappointing when a Canadian brand attempts to provide exception customer service but fails. If you aren't going to honour a return, why not change your policy and avoid frustration from your customers, at least they would know what they were getting themselves into. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this product, unless you're going to put it on before bed, but also make sure that you will like the product or else you'll be out $17.

Worked for my irritated contact dermatitis.

By Persephone

from Undisclosed

Comments about Skinfix Eczema Balm:

I had irritated contact dermatitis and suffered a massive flare up since I also have eczema. I had two large red patches resembling both continents of the Americas. I had a flare up like this before but it took awhile to recover. I tried a different approach replacing my skin protectant with this balm.

Pros: This stopped my itching, it did not sting or aggravate the paper-cut sensations I was already enduring, It serves as an extra healer and barrier when applying pure aloe Vera and fractionated coconut oil before the balm. It cut down my oozing time(:

Cons: cannot work alone - must need a top notch redness&anti-inflammation moisturizer to work or aloe Vera before application. Does not apply evenly, leaving white streaks.

Overall, better alternative to Petroleum Jelly or Diaper Rash. I apply 2x during the day and extra at night to resemble a mask. Thumbs up.

Will stock up in closet.

Just wow.

By Jessica

Comments about Skinfix Eczema Balm:

I have suffered from eczema on my ears and scalp for over 35 years. I have tried every cream, balm, lotion, potion, ointment, light treatment and internal medication. The Skinfix eczema balm is an incredibly helpful product. After my morning shower I apply the balm to my ears and it lasts the entire day. I apply it again at night before bed. For now, this is my go to product. Thanks SkinFix.

Eczema Balm

Comments about Skinfix Eczema Balm:

The balm is fast acting, however, the burning and itching comes back within a couple of hours. Reapplying every few hours makes the cost a lot more costly.
